McDonalds at 3:30 am is possibly one of the best experiences anyone could have, especially when it's with someone you enjoy being around.
"Okay, Emma Stone." I took a bite from a chicken nugget, but didn't break eye contact with Liam. We created our own game where we have a staring contest, while giving opinions on different celebrities.
"She's hot," Liam answers with a grin, but keeps his eyes wide open.
"That's it? She's-YOU BLINKED!" I shouted and pointed to his eyes. He frowned and lowered his head in defeat.
"Liam Payne," he whispers, lifting his head back up to look at me.
"Yeah..that's your name.." I raise an eyebrow and give him a strange look.
"No, I mean that's your person. Opinions on that fella?" he smirked and wiggled his eyebrows a bit, waiting for a sweet opinion.
"Liam Payne," I leaned back in my seat and stared up at the car ceiling, thinking of every opinion I had. There were many floating around in my head and none of them sounded good without all of them.
"He's the type of guy you always want to be around. With his award-winning smile and heart-warming laugh, you'd never get tired of that boy-"
"Man."
"Boy. He's known all across the planet, but I wouldn't describe him as a celebrity. In my eyes, he's another person like me, who's just trying to survive in this world. He's funny, cute, and down to earth."
"Ashley-"
"He puts too much sugar in his coffee, he messes with his hair when he's frustrated, he loves kids just as much as a father would his own, he brings tranquillity into every horrible situation, and from him, I've learned that you can never be too old or young for anything."
"He's an angel on earth and I am truly lucky to be able to sit here with him right and now." The car stayed silent once I had finished, so I leaned my head forward and looked at Liam. He was staring at me with a grin.
"Is that true? You don't think of me as a celebrity?" he asked, sounding amazed and surprised.
"No. Liam, for starters, you don't even act like one. What celebrity goes to McDonalds at 3 am with a random girl, loves superheroes, and trashes a park?"
"You aren't a random girl. But anyways, you have a point," he laughed and ate more of his food, that I of course payed for. "Okay, give me another person."
"Ashley Styles." I sipped at my water, this time waiting for his opinion.
"I personally like to call her Ashley May. It suits her better.o You can learn a lot from her; probably more than a teacher could tell you. She's adventurous, always down for some crazy-stupid idea. But you're afraid to tell her no, because her next idea will always be crazier than the last."
"She may be afraid of the dark, but when it comes down to it, she's fearless. You can't help but have fun with her, no matter what it is you're doing. And you know she's always got your back, even when you haven't had hers."
"She carries an endless amount of objects in a backpack, she hates when others spend money on her, her future children will love her to the ends of the earth, and she's the most fascinating person I've ever had the privilege of meeting."
"Fearless?" I couldn't think of where he got the idea of me being fearless, but I decided he probably had his reasons.
"Fearless," he agrees with a nod and rolls the wrapper to his 3 am snack into a ball. He threw it at my head and it bounced off onto the floor.
