Mystery person POV

     Just look at that. Those two so happy, so totally obvious to what was happening around them. They hadn't even scent me out. I could have laughed.

     Stopping myself just in time, my eyes followed their every move. They would pay for what they did to my family. I would never forgive them.

     I looked away to have a bright flash of light coming from their direction. I snapped my head to them, giving myself a small whiplash. Putting my hand to my neck, i sought out the light.

     I found it at their hands. A bright, snakelike, light was circling their entwined fingers. As if to protect them and join them.

     I felt a growl coming in my chest. I swallowed it and walked away from them. Quietly.

     Leaving the border, i walked to a few of my men nearby and signaled them to go home. They did as i bid and left me.

     Yes, those sickly new couple.

     Would pay.

     Kairi POV

     It was the happiest i'd ever felt in my life. I felt like a missing part of me had been restored. My wolf was jumping for joy as we walked hand in hand. I felt the gentle heat of his hand and was comforted by it.

     I lifted my head and looked at his beautiful face. I would never get tired of looking at it. I realised he was staring at me. I felt his eyes baring a hole in my face. His eyes still held uncertainty. And looked at me as if to confirm that what was happening was real.

     I grinned. He asked for it.

     I released his hand, and, grabbing his arm, i gave him a hard pinch. He let out a yelp and my wolf berated me for even contemplating hurting our mate. I sighed.

     I placed a gentle kiss to the now red mark. I looked back into his eyes.

     "What was that for?" he mumbled. I gave him my best smile.

     "Your eyes were begging me to let you know this was real, and im happy to say that none of this is a dream." His eyes softened. I recognised a look in his eyes. They were they same as the day he rejected me. The little flicker of emotion i saw on his face before he denied me.

     His amazingly smooth chocolatey eyes with a hint of the purest red, a gold outlining his eye. Love. I felt my heart soar. He loved me!

     I frowned. He hadn't said it to me yet but i guessed that he would in the future.

     Getting on my tip-toes, i kissed him before running out towards the pack house. I heard him growl and the gentle pad of footsteps against the stoned yard. I laughed and put on my wolf speed.

     He would never catch me.

     I could have screamed when i was lifted into the air, bridal style and taken towards the door. I told him to put me down and he might get a present if he did.

     He immediately put me down.

     Stepping up on the pad of my foot, i put my head to his ear and whispered the three words that would change my life forever.

     "I love you."

     With that i skipped to the door and ran towards my room.
