Chapter Eight~ The Trip

"A b c d e f g h I j k l m n I p q r s t u v w x y z now I know my a b c's next time won't you sing with me," Michelle loudly sang.

"Would you please shut up?" Luke glared over to her while merging lanes, "I'm trying to drive here." "I'm sorry am I distracting you?" She stuck her tongue out at him. "Well..." Luke trailed off. "Ah! So I am!" Michelle poked him hard on the side.

"Don't do that!!" Luke yelled and swerved on the road. "Sorry!!" she apologized.

Ten Minutes Later

"Luke I'm bored," Michelle groaned. "So?" Luke answered. "It's a problem," she stated. "Really? It's my problem?" Luke asked. "Yeah because I'm bored and you're not interested in entertaining me," Michelle said in a matter of fact tone. "Keep trying sweetheart," Luke shook his head.

"Okay," Luke said finally pulling into where the Connolly's beach cabin was. "We're here!" Michelle yelled. "All in one piece, no thanks to you," He grumbled pulling his bag out of the trunk. "Oh please you enjoyed my company," Michelle mocked. Luke sighed knowing she was right, "Fine that's true."

They both stood at the door of the cabin waiting for one of the Connolly's to answer. "Hey!" JJ said opening the door. "Hey bro!" Luke said giving him a man hug.

"Hey," JJ said acknowledging Michelle. "Hey JJ where's Abby?" She asked. "She's not here yet. My dad and I got here first so we could clean up the house a bit," JJ replied. "Oh okay," Luke and Michelle both said.

They walked in and helped put fresh sheets on the beds and put their bags away. An hour later Abby and her mom came, so they headed down to the dock. 

"Isn't this just the best?" Abby asked. "Yeah it is," Michelle said laying down on the dock in her bikini. "I need to tan," JJ said looking at his arms. "Dude you have a bad farmer's tan," Luke sneered. "Shut up," JJ said pushing him. Abby and Michelle laughed.

"What?" Luke laughed pushing him back. "You wanna go? You wanna go?" JJ threatened. Luke smirked and replied, "Sure."

Michelle glanced over at Abby and she shrugged, "My brother's gonna get it." Michelle laughed and shook her head while watching Luke and JJ play around with each other.

Right then Luke ever so slowly took his shirt off revealing his six packs and perfect torso.

"Oh. My. Gosh." Michelle thought to herself. She found herself checking him out unintentionally so she turned away and tried to wipe his perfect appearance from her mind and looked over at Abby, who looked pretty impressed herself.

JJ shoved Luke to the edge of the dock and he said, "Lukie boy you're done." Luke smiled, "Go ahead push me in." JJ pushed Luke but then with no effort Luke picked up JJ and threw him off the dock.

Michelle bursted out laughing and so did Abby. JJ came up out of the water and when Luke wasn't looking he grabbed his ankle and pulled him down with him.

"AHAHAHAHA!!!" Abby and Michelle doubled over laughing. Luke and JJ climbed back up on board and shook the water off of them. "Laughing at me aren't ya sis?" JJ smugly said. Abby adjusted her bikini and said, "Yeah I was."

He flicked water on her. "Ew! Jason!" Abby screamed.  He laughed and flicked more water on her than took a hand full of the ocean and splashed it on her. "Jason Stop!" Abby got up and started running. They chased each other around until Luke pushed JJ off and grabbed Abby hurling her over the dock. He smirked over at Michelle.
