Chapter Nineteen~ 7 minutes to Break

-Cheerleaders-

"BOOM BOOM" *clap* "BOOM BOOM" *clap* "Do you hear the sound noise? We're cheering on for all of our boys. Our boys are gonna easily crush your joy. Your joy are gonna crushed to the ground. Because Kennedy's boys are gonna make the touch down! BOOM!" *clap* "BOOM" *clap*

"WHOOOPPP!!!" The crowd roars. "BOO" the other competing teams cry out.

Michelle's leg still hurt even though her cast has been off for the past month. But fortunately she was able to cheer tonight- unfortunately she was the one to be thrown in the air. While the crowd watched Sam pass the ball over to Luke to make a corner pass, the girls stacked up into a standing pyramid with her on top.

Once Luke passed the ball to Chris, who hurled the ball over to JJ- who fumbled!

"NO!" some yelled. But quick without the other team on JJ, he got up and messily hurled the ball towards the touch down line. It was over 21 feet.

"It's never going to make it," Michelle whispered to herself. Thank Goodness she was wrong because ironically it did! The tying score of 49-49 finally broken 49-50. The two hour game was finished! And with five seconds on the clock it was a miracle.

Suddenly Michelle jumped and did a split in the air and came rushing down while the cheerleaders formed a human net of arms to throw her back in the air. With a smooth landing she was hurled up again- this time doing a back flip and landed on her toes launching into a cross back hand spring with Bailey.

She did it! She actually did it!

"GO KENNEDY!! LET'S GO!! GO KENNEDY!! LET'S GO!!" the stands roared with a deafening sound. With the last game of the year, before Christmas break, Kennedy had a successful winning.

"Oh my gosh! That was amazing!" Luke came over after celebrating with his team and fans. Michelle kissed him and said, "That was an amazing play you guys did out there." "Especially that flip that you did with Bailey. It was impressive!" Luke said pulling Michelle close to him walking through the crowds of people. "You were watching?" She sighed happily. "Course I was," he winked. They were far enough away from the crowd to actually have a moment of talking to each other. "So there's a party tonight," Luke said leaning up against the outside of the bathroom stalls. "Yeah," she asked biting her lip, "Like the one last time?" He shook his head, "No it's an actual party."

Uh oh.

"With um... drinking and stuff?" Michelle stuttered. "Yeah," he said ever so casually. I'd never been drinking before, she thought. "Just this one time," he begged, "And never again. Let me have this one New Year's Eve party as a senior- with you." She really thought about it, something-maybe God- was gently telling her No. She pushed it away and gave in, "Okay." He smiled and kissed her slowly. Some thing about the way they've been acting together lately has been bothering her. Like too much touching and doing things that she wouldn't have done four months ago.

But it's okay~ something else told her~ It's true love. Don't be so cautious.

"I love you," he said and the smelly sweat started to dawn on her now. "Go change," she pushed him away from her. He chuckled, "Okay. I'll be quick." "I'll be waiting here," she promised. He threw her the keys to his car and she caught them gracefully.

Making her way to his car she unlocked it. Everywhere around her were little talks here and there about the party. What intrigued her was when she heard "Anna even slept with him just so he'd by all the beer."

Her heart stopped, That's basically a sex offer! Now she really didn't want to go- it made her feel uneasy that a girl had to sleep with someone just so the party would happen. Her parents had always been weary of drinking, smoking and things like that. Now she felt horrible for attending one. The car next to her sounded a Thump and when she turned to look inside she wished she hadn't and quickly got into Luke's car.
