The room had taken a drastic turn

The room had taken a drastic turn. The cold seemed to seep back in, but not in between any of us this time. The hands on the clock ticked past 11:30, but no one moved. Yoongi was still asleep anyways so it's not like we needed to.

Jimin's monitor was steady except for an occasional jump, but it didn't mean much since Jin wasn't doing anything about it.

"Do you think that was him?" Jungkook's voice was low and shaky next to me.

"What was who?"

"Jimin's...episode or whatever," he trailed off gesturing to Jimin's bed.

"Maybe," Jin sighed, sinking lower in his chair, "Maybe he doesn't want to stay after all."

The room fell into a hush.

How could he leave us? After everything. I shook my head and stared at my knees.

"He couldn't," I said clearly, "If any one of us had been working to piece ourselves back together after what happened it was Jimin. He wouldn't give up that easily. I know he wouldn't."

"He also tried to kill himself three times when we knew him and only Jin knew," Namjoon countered.

"Do you really want to think that? That Jimin wants to die?" I sat up offended and stared at the older.

"I didn't say that Tae..."

"But you're thinking it anyways aren't you."

"I..." he sighed.

"Of course you would," I scoffed as I sat back against the armchair's side again.

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"You always give up, don't you remember?" the room turned bitter cold as everyone tensed and held their tongues.

"Stop it," Jin's voice was like acid and we all turned to him, "We made our mistakes and we all paid for it already so stop it. Do you really think that Jimin would want us fighting...especially right now? That's what tore us apart in the first place. Don't let it do that a second time."

He slumped back in his chair and I shrunk back in shame.

"I'm sorry," I muttered.

"Me too," Namjoon sighed tiredly.

Jimin's monitor stopped jumping a few minutes later, probably finally recovered from the third episode. Jin grabbed a towel out of one of the cabinets over the room's sink, throwing it on my head so I could dry off finally. I sighed as I closed my eyes, praying for Jimin to wake up soon. I shook the water out of my hair and into the towel, letting silent tears fall into the fabric along with the freezing rain.

Maybe it's cherry blossoms blowing fiercely in the rain's wind on the springtime trees outside that made me want to hope for the best. I wanted Jimin to wake up because then we'll be happy and this winter will be over finally. I miss you Jimin. I miss you so please come back.
