Jens pov
Wallet? Check. Keys? Check. Phone? Where's my phone?
"Tori!" I call out in my apartment. "What?" "Have you seen my phone? I cant find it!"
"It's in here in the bathroom" she says. So I go to my bathroom since she's getting ready there.
"Um you needa hurry up" I say to her.
"I know! Just- lemme put these lashes on." She says.
We're both getting ready for this festival. It's an hour away. The type of attire people wear there is like..really revealing. I see people wear just a bra and underwear but I'm for sure not gonna do that. Considering I have a huge ass and I'm not in the mood to deal with guys drooling over it. It's a daily thing I get. A simple bra and shorts is fine to me. Two braids on top and the rest of my hair down. Hoops earrings and some white nike air maxes. I think I look cute.
"So who are we picking up?" I ask her as we go downstairs to the garage. "Just three others. Brooklyn, then you know Camila right?" She asks me.
"Eh..kinda."
"Well her too and then my friend Leah. I don't think you've met her or you might've seen her a few times"
"I might've..I'll need to see her face again haha" I said. "Yeah true. Well thank you for driving! Even though I said I'll drive us then pick everyone else up" tori says then We both get in my car. Big enough to fit 8 people. It's a family type of car but my ass is single as fuck. Ironic.
"Yeah well I don't drink so I might as well be the dd." I said.
"You're right"
So a little about myself. I'm living my life to the fullest. I have a secured job and amazing friends who I hang out with all the time. I just enjoy whatever happens in my life. You could say I go out a lot since all my friends have plans with me. It gets tiring but also it's very fun. Especially since I'm single..all of us..except one, Brooklyn..are single so it's easier. No need to really worry about letting our lovers know where we are. No fighting over what we're doing because like I said..we're single. I meet a lot of people throughout going to all these events and parties with my friends but never have I stayed in touch with them. We just follow each other on social media and barely see each other again. But more followers I guess? but yeah..I'm just a girl who loves to have fun and enjoy my single life with friends.
We get to our friend Brooklyn's house. She came in the car and we left right away since we were running out of time.
"Okay whose next?" I ask Tori. "Camila" Tori says and puts in her address in my phone so I could use the gps.
We picked up Camila who wasn't too far from Brooklyn.
"Hiiii! So nice to meet you" I said nice and happily to Camila after she sat down in my car. "Hi! Nice to meet you too" She says.
Then we to the next and last house. I look to my left and see the girl crossing her street and headed towards my car. She has a cute outfit. I should've thought of wearing that. I actually have seen her before at a few parties that I've been to with Tori but I've never met her like this. I just see her a lot.
"Hi!" She says. "Hey! Look at you!!" Tori says looking in the backseat at this girl.
"Jen this is the Leah I was talking about" she says.
"Oh your name is leah? Nice to meet you!" I said.
"Haha yeah I'm Leah" she says. Honestly I've been wanting to meet her. I see her a lot but this is my first time talking to her. She seems cool. Popular.
We later get to the festival. Of course the girls got drinks. I just waited over to the side while they bought it.
"You're not gonna drink?" That Leah girl walks up to me and asks. "No haha. I don't drink plus I'm driving all of you guys home so" I said and shrugged my shoulders.
"I see..well it's fine. I don't drink either. You're not alone" she says to encourage me. "Oh really? Great!" I giggle. "Haha yeah.." she says and looks back at the girls and crosses her arms.
"Have you been to this festival before?" I ask her and she looks at me again. "I have twice. Not with Tori though. Have you?" She asks me. "Mhm. Every year. But I barely tried with my outfit this year. I really like yours!" I tell her.
She looks at my outfit and shakes her head. "What?? Your outfit is cute! And you have amazing abs. That's crazy!" She says. I smile and cover my stomach. "Thanks! Haha." I said and chuckled. She's nice. Out of the many times we've seen each other we're finally talking.
"You remember me from those other parties right?" Leah asks me. Its like she read my mind. "Yes I do! I see you around but I didn't realize you've noticed me too"
"Haha yes I do remember you. How can I forget? You're the known dancer" she says.
"Oh that..yeah I love to dance" I giggle. "I could tell" she says.
The girls all come to us and Tori hands me and Leah a bottled water.
"Since you two don't like to fucking drink" Tori jokes. "Ha..thanks" Leah says.
We all walk over to the spots we wanted to stand. The show started not too long after. It's pretty much a bunch of songs performed by different famous artists throughout the whole night. They get the crowd hyped up and all. It's really fun actually. I spent the whole time with Brooklyn and sometimes Tori because I don't really know Leah and Camila. I cant act normal around them. But at the same time all but me and Leah are tipsy. I used to hate being the only one sober around my drunk friends but I'm getting used to it now. I guess I'm the babysitter but that's also my fault because I don't even drink. It was kinda nice though to know that Leah also doesn't drink. I don't feel alone. Now we know we have something in common.
