Jens pov
Now that I'm all done at my office job and received my last pay check. I feel a bit more relieved. My mom has also been texting me time to time asking me if I'm okay which I appreciate because I could tell that this isn't bothering her about me being gay as much as it's bothering my dad.
Today I'm gonna meet Leahs parents. Well mostly her dad because I've met her mom but she didn't know I was dating Leah at the time. I'm nervous but Nicole and Gabriella will be there too so I'll know people.
Leahs holding my hand the whole drive. Once we pulled up the the driveway, she noticed that I took a deep breath.
"You will be fine" she says rubs her thumb on my skin. "I'm excited but nervous that I'm shaking" I said. "Don't shake! It's not that scary. They just wanna know you more"
"Okay. Let's go and get over with it" I said and let go of her hand. She opens the front door since she has the keys and I first see Gabi on the floor playing with her toys which got me excited because Gabi is so adorable.
"Mom I'm home with Jennifer!" Leah says while holding my hand.
"Be right there!" She says from upstairs.
Leah looks at me but I immediately walked over to Gabi letting go of Leah and also saw Nicole laying on the couch.
"Hi Jennifer!" Nicole says and sits up. "Hey cutie!" I said and she gives me a hug. "Hi baby" I said with a high pitched voice to Gabi and she smiles at me.
"Hey question. Do you guys wanna have lunch together?" Leahs mom says and I turn around to see both her and Leahs dad. "Yeah sure. But mom..dad..this is the girl I'm dating. Her name is Jennifer. Mom you've met her before. Kind of" Leah says. I stand up and shook both their hands. "So nice to meet you" i said to her dad and then me and Leahs mom gave each other a cute smile which already made me like her.
"Well I didn't expect you to look like this" her dad says. "What?" Leah giggles. "I thought you meant like a girl who dresses up like a guy." He says. "A dyke?" I chime in. "She's gorgeous huh?" Nicole says. I smile and look at Leah. She was smiling too.
"Okay we could meet you guys at Lucille's! I'll go get ready. Someone go reserve for 1:30" her mom says and leaves to go upstairs with her dad following along.
"Seeee they love you!" Leah says and I blush. "I meaaan" I said and flipped my hair making Leah laugh.
"Okay lets go now and reserve. My mom might take like..30 minutes" she says. "Can I come?" Nicole asks. "Yeah whatever. But bring Gabriella upstairs before we leave so someone's watching her." Leahs says.
Me and Leah go in the car to wait for Nicole.
"I have a great feeling lunch will go well" she tells me. I face her and smile. "Me too. Your dad seemed pretty shocked" I said. "He probably thought you looked more attractive than he expected" she says. I furrow my brows and tilt my head. "I guess. But that's kinda weird also." I said. "Yeah. Well he's not creepy I promise! You know what I meant. He's so in love with my mom. Gabriella was an accident" she says and my jaw drops. "Yeah but they were so happy when they found out my mom got pregnant. So it's fine."
"My gosh.." I said and started to laugh. "But no seriously. I know my mom likes you and they just need to get to know you more. It'll be fine." She says.
I softly smile and lean close to her. I didn't exactly kiss her. Just touched her nose with mine.
"I love you" i said. "I love you more" She says back. I touched her lips a bit. More like a brush over her lips. Not even a kiss. "I'm still sore from the other night" she tells me. "Mm yeah?" "A fucking workout we both got that night" she says. I smile hard and look down for a second. Then back at her again.
