Leahs pov
Last night went no where. Jen fell asleep because I kept ignoring her. I don't wanna regret anything when she's drunk. I'd rather everything happen when we're sober. Maybe she's the type that gets all worked up while drunk.
Today's our last day here. We're leaving in the afternoon. The trip was fun except for last night. I just wished the whole weekend turned out like how I expected. I mean the kiss was unexpected but I'm glad I did it. At the same time do I regret it? I mean she kissed me back so that means something. But she didn't bring it up at all. Are we even supposed to talk about it? Who knows. But she's acting like we never even kissed.
Now we're packing our stuff because we're about to leave and go home.
"Tori's going home with Camila so I'm gonna be riding home alone" Jen says as we both pack our things. "Alone? In this type of weather?" I ask. She looks up at me and shrugs her shoulder.
"I'll go with you..I mean if you want" I said. "You're gonna leave Brooklyn alone?" She says.
"Lemme ask her if it's okay to her" I said. "Okay. But if not its Okay. I don't mind being alone" she says but I ignore her and still asked Brooklyn.
"Yeah that's fine! I was gonna go to my parents house after I dropped you off but I could go straight there now so it works out" Brooklyn said. "Oh okay cool! Thanks for driving me here!" "No problem" she smiles.
I go back to our bed and continued packing. "She said it's fine that I go with you." I said. "Yay!!!" She says happily then zips up her luggage then climbs on the bed and sits on top of it while facing me and watches me pack.
"My luggage is overflowing so I gotta sit on it to make it go down" She giggles. "I see" I said and smiled. After, I finished I zipped mine up too then put it on the ground.
"Did anything else happen last night?" She asks me. "Nothing happened. You just fell asleep by me" I said. "No sex?" She quietly but curiously asks.
"With who?" I ask without looking at her. "You obviously" "why me?" I ask. "I-..you know what Nevermind." She says and gets off the bed.

We get back to the cities and it was already dark out since we left late afternoon. So we're just cruising down many cities on our way back to our city. It's kind of nice with her during the night. It's calm. We did talk throughout the ride but not at all about the kiss. I thought it would be something she'd obsess over because that's what's happening to me now. But not her sadly
Later, we get to my place and she helps me bring my things in.
"Where do you want me to put your purse?" She asks me. "You can leave it on the couch" I tell her.
"Okay. That's all. I think..right?" She asks. "Yes that's all. Thank you again" I said. "No problem!" She says and walks over to the island which was where I was. She leans her elbows on it just like I was and looks to her side which was at me.
"When are we gonna hang out again?" She asks me. "When do you wanna hang out?" I ask her. "Soon. Really soon" she giggles and I feel her get closer to me. I look away from my phone and look at her.
"How soon?" I asked. She tilts her head with a very intimidating look.
"As soon as possible" she softly smiles and touches my arm in a teasing way.
I look down at her hand and I blushed.
"I'm free Wednesday" I said quietly then looked at her again. "Perfect" She says. "So Wednesday?" I ask her. "Mhm.." "Alright"
She let's go and stands back up straight. "I'll get going now"
"Okay..text me when you get home" I tell her. "I will" she smiles and gives me a hug. "I had so much fun with you during the trip" she says and pulls back but we were still close. Her lips are right there leah..do something.
"I had fun too" I said. Somewhat lying. Everything was fun aside from my over thinking and the night she got drunk. Oh well.
"Even though you did get drunk the second night"
"I know..I'm sorry" she pouts. Can't get mad at that face. "It's whatever" I sighed. She smiles and bites her lip. "The snow fight was funny" she says. "It was" I said. "You're pretty aggressive" she tells me. I shrug my shoulders and smirk. "You should go home now before it gets too late"
"You don't want me here?" She asked. "No I do! I just- I don't want you driving out there super late at night"
"Mm.."
"I'm serious!" I giggle. "I know I'm teasing you. I'll see you Wednesday then"
"For sure. Bye" I said and we hugged again then she left. Sigh. I like her so much. But for some reason I'm mad deep down inside for no apparent reason.

Jens pov
Me and Leah were supposed to go to the gym and eat today on this Wednesday night but here we are just eating. We didn't go to the gym.
"How's work?" I ask Leah as we ate. "It's okay. Everyone's been so welcoming to me since it's been a week and everyone knows why I was gone."
"That's good! As they should. How about your boss? Has he made any errands for you to visit my job again?"
"Haha no..but when he does I'll let you know right away"
"Cool. It was crazy the first time you came. I was surprised. And also.. you dress up really nice for work by the way" I said. "Oh thank you" she smiles
"And you look gorgeous tonight too" I tell her. "I'm in a not so impressive look today but thank you" She says. "You're always impressing me" I said. She smiles even more and starts playing with her food. It's cute seeing her blush. I like teasing her because I know she likes me more. Even after that kiss.. I know it fucked her up. I'm tryna play all cool but inside I'm dying still over that kiss and I wanna kiss her again. I just don't wanna rush things.
After eating and paying our bill we left. Now we're sitting in the car deciding what we should do since we have extra time to spare because we didn't go to the gym.
"Hmm.." she mumbles while thinking and going through her phone. I look at her as she scrolls through Yelp.
"Find anything?" I ask her softly. "There's nothing to do on a Wednesday night" she sighs. "Darn" I said and started the engine of my car.
"So what?" She asks. "Nothing. Just starting the car" I giggle then look at her again. She looks at me and lays her head back onto the chair. "Might as well go home. We both have work tomorrow" She says. "Yeah..I guess" I sighed but continued looking at her. It's dark out but some light is shining this way from the buildings so I see her pretty eyes sparkling from it. The chill music playing from my car and the beat to it makes the vibes even stronger.
She doesn't say anything about me staring. I'm literally observing her right now. She looked back down at her phone to do whatever. I randomly decided to bring my hand by her face and run my fingers through her hair on the side. She looks away from her phone and up at me again and I smile.
"What?" She says trying not to smile. "I really enjoyed that kiss" I said. She starts to blush more and looked back down at her phone again quickly scrolling through whatever she was on out of nervousness. "Yeah?" She asks while still looking down. "Yeah. I was really hoping we could have more of that" I replied. "Yeah well..we cant when we're trying to hide this..thing- we-" she stops as I got closer. I cupped her cheek after and leaned in. When she realized what I was doing she went with it and our lips touched. Here we are kissing again. Slowly and softly. I've been craving for this second kiss for a while. I knew after that first kiss that I wanted more. I know I don't wanna rush things. But damn she's perfect. I'd marry her right now if I could.
I let go for a second and licked my lips while still close to hers. Then I went for it again. Then I smiled in between the kiss. The fact that she stopped talking when she knew I was gonna kiss her makes me happy. She got weak. I got weak and gave in with a kiss. I honestly feel lucky to be kissing her.
