Kenya's POV
"The description of literature can be determined in many ways. Take Shakespeare for example, he wrote a love story that ended with death. Many readers believed that Romero and Juliet were madly in love and deserved to be together. Yet more skeptical readers believed that these were two young teens who rushed into romance."
Literature, one of my favorite subjects that I enjoy the most.
The writing style and wording interests me.
The different emotions that are put into each word, it's fascinating.
I know that many students will hate Literature because I was one of them. I didn't understand the subject.
Until I read Monochrome Rainbow.
It's a collection of short stories by Takatsuki Sen.
I was impressed, intrigued, and mind blown.
"Class will be ending soon. I will not assign any homework, so the next 15 minutes of class will be free time."
I turn to Touka who was already reading.
"And this is why I call you a bookworm." I speak.
"I believe you're the bookworm here. Didn't you get a head start with next week's reading?" How did Touka know about that?
"Oh shut it, at least I read." We both laughed with smiled on our faces. Yoriko soon joined our conversation and states that we both were bookworms.
As we continue our talk, the bell had rung and that was our signal to leave for lunch.
"Math is next for you, right?" Yorkio asked me.
"Yeah, and it's cooking class for you."
"Don't forget me. I have environmental studies." Touka entered our conversation.
The three of us walked to the lunch area where several types of food were being served.
From ramen to rice balls and sushi to bentos.
We lined up and grabbed a tray to serve ourselves.
"What kind of desserts are we getting? Cupcakes? A slice of cake?" Yoriko stated.
I laughed at my friend as we grabbed our food. I stared at the bowl of ramen and chicken, I really didn't want to eat this.
I hate getting horrible stomach pain and it just continues to get worse.
Lunch was a simple breeze, until a certain person showed up.
"Aren't you guys going to eat lunch?" Yoriko questions us. "We're actually saving this for later." I smile. Yoriko nodded her head and continued to talk about her cooking class.
I'm sorry for lying Yoriko.
"Are you Kenya Ken?"
Mari, the most popular girl in school yet she is slutty and considered as the dumbest bitch you'll ever meet.
"Hello, nerd. Answer my question. Are you Kenya Ken?" I will not answer her questions. She seems very suspicious and secretive.
I decide to ignore her and avoid all her questions.
"Don't ignore me. I want answers." Mari threw my food on the floor and stepped on it. I really didn't care about the food and I'm glad that I don't have to eat it. I'm mad because there's no reason why she had to do that.
"Hey! Why the hell did you do that?!" Touka spoke in anger. Yoriko held Touka back as I stood up.
"Leave us alone." I warned Mari.
