Touka's POV

Kenya returned to work a few days ago she wanted to continue working and saving money for her school and bills. Mr. Yoshimura said a big "NO" but she didn't listen and returned either way, she's very stubborn.

"I still think he shouldn't be living with you, it'll cause awkwardness." In reality it's a bad idea for Hide to be living with Kenya! What if he kisses HER!? I must protect my bestfriend at all costs!

"I think everything will be ok, plus I've been learning more about Kaneki, he seems like a gentle and kind person. I want to meet him already. if only I can find him." Kenya let out a sad and tired sigh, she must be in a lot of pain.

I understand how she feels, losing your loved ones and learning to survive on your own. Always believing that your family will be together and united, but lost all in one night. "But I'll find him! I know he's alive and doing just fine. He's safe wherever he is right now and doing his best to survive." I understand you Kenya.

As we cleaned the tables and and sweeped throughout the store, customers started to come in after 12pm. It's the rush hour of the day on a weekend, out of all days. "I need 1 caramel frappe, 2 chocolate chip drinks, and 4 slices of strawberry cheesecake for table 4. Don't worry we'll work together. I'll take the right side of the coffee shop and you take left."

"Got it" I started with thr first tables full of teenagers. "What can I get for you?" I took out my notepad and pen. "The chocolate crossiant sounds delicious, I'll have that." "I'll get a vanilla mocha with chocolate chips." "I'll get sugar and chocolate cookies 6 in total." I quickly wrote down their orders and asked if wanted to order anything else. "No that's all, thank you."

I gave the first order to the counter and went to the next table. An elderly couple, maybe they would want something no too strong like a tea or cold drink. "How can I help you?" They continued to look through the menu as I waited patiently. "Dear, I can't drink anything hot and he can't have anything too dry, what do you suggest."

"I suggest a lemonade, it's refreshing and soothing we have peach, strawberry, raspberry, and pink lemonade. I also suggest a flan it's not dry and it's very smooth. It's like a vanilla flavored jello and it's very sweet."

As a ghoul I'm quick and ready for anything, but acting like a regular employee can get complicated. Sometimes I loose focus or doubt myself that I can't be a good employee, which causes me to stop and have a small panic especially when it's busy.

"Touka your drinks and desserts are ready!" Koma rang the bell and I went running to the counter and carefully placed the plates and cups on the table.

"Order up!"

"This is too cold for me less ice cubes!"

"I want this to be free it had to much frosting!"

"Delicious!"

I continued this routine through the whole day. Order after order, complain after complain, and I still maintained my cool and my patience. The afternoon was completely booked, I was dead by the time 3pm hit.

"My legs!!!!!" Kenya screamed once all customers were gone. "I felt like I ran a 30 mile marathon with 100lbs weights in my legs with no breakfast ahhh!!" I smiled and let a small laugh out as Kenya sat completely lifeless on chair.

"I think that's her soul right there." Kimi laughed as the mood became brighter. I was tired but still enjoyed the laughs.

Ding!

"Hi, welcome to-"

A pair of men in well ironed grey suits with dark black suitcases came in the door. At first glance they'd look like normal businessmen, but once you knew who they were you'd become worried.
