Touka's POV

"How is she doing?" Yomo asks.

"Her lower ribs are broken. Doc said that Kenya will stay here for 2 weeks. If she's not recovered well, then she'll stay for 1-2 months. Just to make sure that she's fine."

I couldn't speak well at the moment. My throat was dry and I was starting to get tired. Nishki and I have been at the hospital for 2 days. Yoriko went back to school to inform the teachers about the situation. She hasn't left us alone.

Mr. Yoshimura wanted to close the coffee shop for a couple of days, but I was able to convince to him that Nishki and I will stay here with Kenya. He was uncertain, but left Koma and Irimi in charge. Mr.  Yoshimura stays in the hospital with us, but returns to Anteiku from time to time.

Hinami stayed with Koma and Irimi yet she continues to pester about wanting to stay in the hospital. Hinami is working hard in reading and writing, she wants Kenya to be proud.

"How are you two doing? Touka, you're tired." Of course Yomo can see through me.

"I've told her many times go and sleep, but she refuses." Nishki was a little pissed. "Touka, go and get some rest." I refused and remained seated.

I can't leave my friend alone. Never.

Kenya needs me right now and leaving isn't my option.

Yomo pulled out his phone and excused himself from us.

"Nishki, what if Kenya doesn't recover? What if she remain paralyzed? What if she die-" Nishki slapped his hand over my mouth and pulled away. His head remained low and his body was shaking.

"Don't say that. Never say that again!" His eyes were red, puffy red. HIs eyebrows were arched together. His hands were into strong fists. And several tears fell from his eyes, rolled own his cheeks.

"She won't be paralyzed. She will recover. And she will not die."

I felt Nishki's sadness and pain. He was sad, just like me.

"I'm sorry. I worry for her." I speak quietly. "She lived a life like me. Lost parents at a young age, siblings were gone, and all alone." Nishki understood where I was coming from and reassured me that Kenya will be alright.

Yomo came back with the phone by his ear.

"Tell them." Yomo handed us the phone.

"Nishki and Touka, both of you return back home. That's an order from me. Rest and eat something. Once I see that you both are well, then you go back to the hospital. Refuse or disobey, I will get you myself." After he was done speaking, he ended the call.

"Koma will come here in a few minutes to get you. I will stay here with Kenya." Yomo spoke to us.

Nishki and I spoke for a moment and agreed that we'd leave.

"Even if you did refuse, I would've dragged you both outside." Yomo sat in a chair and closed his eyes. I hesitated for a moment, but Nishki dragged me with him outside.

Mr. Yoshimura, why are you a great person? Always worrying for everybody, ghoul or not.

Kaneki's POV

Here I was.

The doors were a few feet away from me.

Why weren't my feet moving? The door is right there. Yomo told me that Nishki and Touka were leaving the hospital.

I jumped on the roof of the hospital and waited for Nishki and Touka to leave. I wonder how Touka is doing? I hope Nishki is doing well. Hinami, I heard that she's improving on reading and writing. Koma and Irimi must be cup clean freaks. Mr. Yoshimura, I want to talk to you.
