Chapter 11

Eliza grabbed Colin's hand and dragged him to the morning room where there were several easels with corkboards set up on them. There were swatches of fabric, pictures of suits for him to choose from, chairs, caterers, favors, and wedding bands for him, flowers, and everthing else that they would have to decide on. Eliza said with a smile, "We have been busy but, most of this will be decided on when we pick the venue. So, what did you find?"

Colin's smile widened as he went to a peg board that was empty, pinned up three different brochures and said, "These three venues will do the catering, flowers, and set up for us."

Eliza went to the board, perused the brochures, stopped on the last one, and said, "This is the one my love." Eliza picked up the brochure on Oheka Castle in Huntington, New York. Colin's heart leaped at the smile on her face.

"Then this is where our wedding shall be my darling. Now, what else do we have here?" Colin asked as he moved on to the next board. Colin was looking at the suits and asked, "You want me to wear silver?"

"I want you to wear whatever you would like but, I was thinking that if you do black then your groomsmen can wear the silver one." Eliza said getting happier that he wanted to be a part of the decision making.

"I agree to wear black. How many groomsmen do I need to have?"

"You will need one other besides your best man, Charles. I put some pictures of things that you can give them for their gift."

"You have been very busy. Now, what are these?" Colin asked pointing at the rings.

"They are pictures of the wedding bands that I like, not that I really need one, and ones that I thought you might like." Eliza said trying not to grin like crazy. Grace had already given her the band that Colin would wear. It was the band that has been passed down in his family and went all of the way back to his great, great, great grandfather. It was antique silver with wolves all around the band.

"I will look at these more closely later. Is there anything else that we need to make a decision on?"

"Well, there is the food, the priest, guest list, and the marriage license." Eliza said holding up her fingers as she counted.

"Oheka Castle will take care of the food just send them the menu you want. I would like to use the pack preist if that is okay with you. He is an elder as well. Oh, that reminds me we are having dinner with the elders tonight."

"You cannot be serious Colin."

"I am very serious my love. I want them to meet you and besides they will have answers for us about your change; if it is even possible."

"Then, we will have dinner with them. It would be lovely to meet them."

"Now that that is settled let's move on. I believe it says in this brochure we can have four hundred guests. I think we should let our mothers handle the guest list. I see that you have picked out an invitation." Colin said eyeing the elegant invitation.

"I will let our mothers handle the guest list then. If you are not fond of the invitation then we can pick out another one. What about our marriage license?"

"This invitation is perfect. That has been taken care of all we have to do is pick it up when we get closer to our wedding day and then sign it when we are asked too. Is there anything else?"

"Your job is to show up, get fitted for your tux, buy a wedding band for me, not that it is necessary, and plan our honeymoon." Eliza said with a smile.

"Fantastic. It seems as if you have everything under control. I am glad that you had fun today."

"I am glad that we are almost done planning our wedding."

Colin picked Eliza up, swung her around, and said, "I am glad that you are happy."
