Jason's pov

Me and Luke were working on fixing the sprung leak and cleaning the basement. She went to her friend's house. "Sorry about the baby, Jason." I force a smile, feeling guilty. "Thanks man. But it's for the best. She can't support a baby. Her body can't do it." "There's always other ways." I nod in agreement then get sprayed with water. "Gah!" I cry falling off the ladder. Luke slides down. "You okay?" I nod, rubbing my sore head. I stare at the ceiling, frustrated. Should I tell Luke what I did? I don't know if I can. At least not right now. I'm too freaked out. He helps me up and we finish with the stupid pipe. We go back upstairs and I grab an ice pack. My head's throbbing. A few minutes after settling on the couch with a beer, the ice pack and the tv remote, my tearful angel comes over. "Hungover?" She asks. I shake my head. "Fell off a ladder. How're you doing?" "Better. I guess." She says sitting beside me. "I'm sorry this happened baby girl." I say kissing her head. "I'm so tired." She says. I feel bad for what I did. But it's for the best. It's safer this way.

*Later*

I was talking on the phone when I heard crying upstairs. I sigh and walk upstairs after getting off the phone. "You alright honey?" I say sitting beside her. "What do you think he or she would be like, Jason?" I force a smile and hug her. "I bet he or she'd be amazing." I say. We both lay down. "Jason... I... I'm-" "If you're gonna say you're sorry, don't." I say. "B-But I-" "Shush baby." I say kissing her. "I love you." She whispers. I smile. "I love you too." I pull her close to me. "How's your stomach feeling?" "I'm alright physically. It's just emotionally." I smile and sit up. "I can certainly help with that." She laughs slightly. "I bet you can." She says grabbing my shirt collar. I smile. We share a deep kiss, me pulling her as close as I can.

Miranda's pov

"Wait." He says. What? "We better play it safe." He says opening the side drawer where his condoms are. I hide my smile. "Yes we should." He smiles. "I love you girl." "Love you too, Jase." "Ok now I'm ready." I laugh and e climbs back in bed with me.
