Miranda's pov
I don't know how mom did this. I wonder if she knew. I stare out the window the whole time. He grabs my hand. "Hey, you alright over there?" He asks. I nod. "Just thinkin'. " I mumble. "About what?" He asks. "Mom, I wonder if she knew that it did that. I mean we were in there a lot. I don't know how I didn't notice." I say. He smiles and continues to drive us home. "We can't tell anyone about that place." He nods. We get back home and get the trunk inside. Jason's phone rings. But he doesn't answer it. "It's just Luke. I'll talk to him later." He says.
*the next day*
I'm so tired. I don't even feel like getting up. Jason's already awake. I glance at the clock. It's already noon. I drag myself out of bed and take a shower. I have a rats nest hair style. "Ugh, bad hair day." I mumble, trying to get through it. I walk out to the living room, still brushing my hair. "Hey sleepy head." He says from the couch. "I am so not a morning person." I mumble, wincing from my hair. He has a smile on his face. I sit beside him on the couch. "Yeah, I'm more of a late morning kinda guy." He says, hugging me. He pulls the brush from my hand.
Jason's pov
This whole business with the trunk is so weird. I've got to stop thinking about that place. Luckily the wedding's coming up soon so I'll be distracted by that. Then it dawns on me! I haven't figured out my vows. Okay, it's a lot like a song, I've just gotta think. "I'm gonna go work in the studio. Gotta get somethin' new out for the fans." I say. She nods. "I'll be here if ya need me." She says, not too happy. It's probably just her mom and stuff. "I'll see ya." I say, kissing her cheek and heading to Luke's. I hope he can help me. He's playing with his boys in the yard. "Hey Luke!" I call. He looks over and waves. "I need help with my vows." "Wow, I'm surprised. It's not every day, a guy asks for help." He says. I roll my eyes.
Miranda's pov
He's been at the studio a while. I think I'll go surprise him. He's not at the studio. "Hm, where is he?" I mumble.
Jason's pov
We finish working on my vows. "Man, I don't think I coulda done it without ya." I say. He smiles. "Let's have a celebration in honor of your engagement." He says. "OK sure, I'll call the fiancé." I pull out my phone.
Miranda's pov
He calls me. "Hey come to Luke's. We're gonna have a party." He says. "On my way." I say. Brantley's song smalltown throwdown comes on. I turn it up and sing along. "Got a keg of beer and a bunch of girls, sure is gonna be a god time." I reach Luke's farm and they've already set up pretty much everything. "I'm gonna bet this is where you've been!" I call. He turns around and nods. "All day, baby. And now that the guest of honor has arrived, let's get this party started." He says as the music kicks up really loud. He holds my hand, lacing our fingers together. "Care to dance?" He asks. "Only with you cowboy." I reply. He wraps one arm around me, one of my arms on his shoulder as we slow dance. I lay my head on his shoulder. The music starts to get faster when we're about to kiss. "Oh well, who cares if it's a slow song it not." He says, rolling his eyes. We kiss anyway. Brantley, Thomas, and Justin, get on the mics. They're singing smalltown throwdown. "We should go somewhere quiet." I say. He smiles and kisses me again. "Definitely." He says. We walk away from the party to Luke's pond in the back. "Thank goodness, I was starting to get a headache." He mutters, smiling. "Let's put our own music on." I mumble, pulling out my phone while staring at him dreamily. He pulls the phone from my hand and kisses me. We don't even need music and he knows it. He pockets my phone then twirls and dips me. "I love you baby." He says. "Love you too." I whisper as we kiss.
