Miranda's pov
*A few weeks later*
I'm awoken to a shaky voice saying, "Honey, wake up. There's something I want you to see." I tiredly open my eyes confused. "What's going on?" He smiles and helps me sit up. "I know you'll really like this." I follow him outside. The October air kind of chilling me. He wraps an arm around me, pulling me in close. I'm shocked to see a big tree house with a built in jungle gym. "W-What the?" "It's for our kid we adopt." He says. I fight back the tears. Wow. "Follow me. We climb the ladder and my jaw drops and I burst into tears seeing the plaque. It reads, "In memory of our two amazing babies loved and lost, now having a blast in heaven with their one of a kind grandma." "Oh Jason!" I cry, shocked. He hugs me. "I'm sorry about what happened between us. But those were still our kids and I will never stop loving them." He holds me tight. "I love you so much, Jason." I whimper. We get out of the treehouse. "Ok let's get ready to go. We've got a big day ahead of us." My loving husband says smiling. I just can't believe what he showed me. I hug him again then get in the shower. I also had a lot of time to think.
Jason's pov
Man I can't believe I pulled that off. The guys are definitely the best. They helped me build that thing in one night to surprise her. "I owe ya'll big time." I whisper. I hear the water stop. She calls my name so I walk upstairs. "What's up?" "I have thought about this but... I think... I think I sh-should get a hysterectomy. So I don't risk getting pregnant again." I am definitely surprised. "It's a safe surgery. I'll be fine." She says walking over. I hug her. "You are such an extraordinary brave woman. I am so glad I get to do life with you by my side." She smiles. "Jason.... What you did for me.... The treehouse..." She breaks down crying. I hold her in my arms. "You're the best husband and friend I could ever know." I smile and kiss her head. "Behind every great man is a woman teaching him how to be that way." "Oh Jay." She whispers, her voice slightly shaking from crying. I hug her tighter. I can't wait to start a family with this amazing woman.
