"Okay, so I'm counting on everyone to not be late tomorrow. This event is very important to me and to the future of this company. I want you all to be part of this success because we all worked so hard to keep The Perfect Bride running and known out there." I concluded the meeting and got a lot of yeses from my employees as they clapped their hands in excitement.

Tomorrow is the biggest wedding event that we organized for roughly 3 months. Why biggest? Because it will be televised for the public to see. The groom and bride that will be joining together in holy matrimony tomorrow are non other than Jacob Robinson, from one of the richest families in the country and his bride-to-be Hillary Qiangdong, a Chinese heiress born in China but was raised in the US to continue the flow of wealth in her family.

"So, Boss." Deb approached me before clearing her throat.

"Stop it." I furrowed my eyebrows without looking at her but browsing my emails on my phone instead.

She just laughed and snatched the phone from my hand, making Anton laugh at my back. I glared at him before turning my glare to Deb. Deb is my best friend since we were in diapers. She never left my side since then, especially from the day I decided to run off my parents' house until today that I run my own business and making my own name while my parents continue to build their own empire.

If you haven't figured it out yet, yes, I'm from one of those cliché rich families in the country with a cliché homophobic parents. Don't get me wrong, I love them as much as I love girls and my company. I also like the fact that they are slowly coming into terms of me being a lesbian and that they couldn't do anything about it. They maybe realized they need to accept me for who I really am and what I want to be, or maybe they accepted the fact that there's no priest or pastor or prayer can ever heal my disease.

Anton, on the other hand, is my bisexual best friend. I first met him when he applied for a Senior Photographer position in my company. I already knew he was gay the moment his eyebrow irked when he entered my office that day. He already knew I was gay, too before he even frankly asked me after the interview. I remember him telling me that my make up and high heels can never ever cover up my gayness.

"So I'll just have my secretary reach out to you after I get to interview and see the portfolio of the other applicant. Just keep your lines open. Do you have any questions for me before we end today?" I asked him before I stand to lead him out my office. He looked hesitant at first, but I guess he was always this confident and his guts always come out first before he can even stop it.

"I know that people look up to you not just because you're on top of the billboards with your parents. The Perfect Bride has made it's way to the top events organizer in the country and you also look stunning, but honey, your make up and high heels can never ever hide your gayness. I can smell it before you even opened the door to your office." He said as he chuckles lightly showing me his perfect, pearly white teeth.

"Well, I guess it takes one to know one. I can say the same to you. That beard and muscles can never ever hide the Barbie in you." I smiled as I reached my hand for him to shake.

"Thanks for today, Mr. Kirkgaard." He smiled back shaking my hand. "Just call me Anton, Miss Crawford."

"It's Daniella."

I was snapped out of my memory lane when the lights inside the Convention Center turned on, illuminating elegant colors of red and gold. Taking everything in almost took my breath away at how well Deb decorated the place for a Chinese-themed wedding. I appointed Deb to be the head of the Decorations Department. She just started decorating her room with old Christmas lights and other things that most of us consider as trash. But Deb saw something on those trash and turned it to elegant decors. I supported her talent by letting her decorate my room. She always had that urge to turn my plain, white room into something 'indie-like' as what we call it. And then Anton's, and then my office until such time that I learned to love what she does, and we all know that everyone else will love it, too. And I guess, it's safe to say that after making her decorate my first wedding event almost 5 years ago, my email was blasted with bookings.
