THE NEXT DAY, everyone woke up to find that Wells had been murdered. Clarke was extremely broken up about it. She had refused to talk to pretty much anyone. Finn and Elys were sitting outside the dropship.

"Do you think it was the grounders?" She asks him.

He shrugs. "I hope so. I mean, people in the camp were angry at him but angry enough to kill?"

Elys nods. "You should go check on Clarke. She's barely left his grave."

He nods. "Yeah, I'll do that." He kisses the side of her head before walking off towards the grave.

Elys sits there for a bit longer before an annoying voice interrupts her thoughts.

"Seems to be a bit of a love triangle. I thought Finn and Clarke would be the ones together, but seems he's always with you."

She looks up to see John Murphy. But, was there a hint of jealousy in his voice? If it was, he quickly masks it with a smirk. "Finn is my brother, jackass. Not that it's any of your business."

His eyebrows furrow. "What? But there was only one set of siblings on the Ark."

Elys stands up, brushing off her pants. "Nope. There were two. No one knew because I was put in lockup right after being born."

Sadness mixed with anger clouded his face as he looked down at her. "So Finn was living the good life while you were wasting away in a cell. You guys must've had some great parents." He says, bitterly.

Fury washes through Elys at the mention of her parents and she shoves him against the dropship, her knife pressed against his throat. "My mother was floated shortly after giving birth to me. My father took care of both of us despite losing the love of his life because of me. Anything else you wanna say about them?"

He looks down at her, blankly, before holding his hands up in surrender.

"That's what I thought." She says before shoving him away from her.

At that moment, Clarke storms past them into the dropship, followed by Finn, who gives Elys a questioning look. She shakes her head, brushing him off, and follows them.

Clarke walks over to Monty, holding out her wrist. "Take it off. You need a working wristband."

His eyes widen. "Really?"

She nods as Finn frowns. "And Clarke needs to punish her mother."

Elys looks at Clarke. "Are you sure you wanna do this? They'll think you're dead..."

Monty smiles. "Not if I can patch it through the dropship mainframe. I can do it. We'll be talking to the Ark by nightfall."

He removes Clarke's bracelet and it works. He grins and gets to work.

Deciding to be productive, Elys heads out to start working on the wall. She walks over to Charlotte, the youngest prisoner on the Ark, and smiles at her. "Hey, can I help you?"
