ON THE WAY back to Polis, Miller and Jackson explained everything about the final Conclave. Octavia would be fighting for Skaikru and whoever won would get the bunker for their clan. It was well under way when the four of them arrived. She and Murphy headed straight into the bunker to see Clarke.
They found her with Jaha in the office.
"Clarke!" Elys says as they walk in.
Clarke smiles and hugs both of them. "Hey, guys. It's about time you made it back."
"How's Octavia doing?" Elys asks.
"There's four warriors left, including Octavia."
She smiles. Her friend was kicking ass. She couldn't be more proud of her.
After talking with Clarke, Elys and Murphy head out to greet all of their other friends. It's not until later that Elys sees two guards dragging Bellamy in unconscious. The bunker seals up shortly after. Elys hurriedly makes her way back to the office.
Clarke and Jaha are inside. Clarke looks very worried.
"What the hell just happened?" Elys asks, rushing over to Bellamy. "Where's Octavia?"
Clarke sighs. "Wait until Bellamy wakes up and we'll explain..."
Elys sits down in a chair next to Bellamy, looking at his face. "Did you sedate him?"
Clarke nods. "He'll be awake soon."
A short time later, Bellamy wakes up. He looks around the room, realizing he's in the bunker office. He then sees Elys. He quickly hugs her before looking up and seeing Clarke and Jaha.
"What the hell did you do?" He demands.
"If only one clan could survive, it might as well be ours," Jaha explains.
Elys glares at him. "Jaha, this isn't like the boat. 'Sacrifice the few to save the many.' This is ALL of the grounders. Hundreds of people. And Octavia? Kane?"
Bellamy looks to Clarke. "Clarke, you agreed to this?"
"It was her idea."
Clarke looks down. "We did what we had to do."
"How could you do this? There were only four warriors left. Octavia was one of them. She might have won."
"And she might not have," Jaha says, dismissively.
"Bellamy, you're right. She had a chance. But Luna was in the final four as well, which means there is an even better chance of nobody getting into this bunker, of nobody surviving the end of the human race. Can you understand that?"
"Yeah, I can understand it. You did what you think you had to do, like always. But you can't you can't expect me to stay down here not knowing what happened to my sister."
