"CONTAINMENT DOOR RELEASED."
Murphy and Elys both look up at each other and run to the door. It was open!
He starts to run out, but Elys stops him. "Wait! Let's pack some things!"
She quickly grabs their backpacks and throws some things such as the rest of the food, clothes, and bottles of water. She hands him his and they exit the bunker.
It's very dark on the island. They both look up as they hear the drone from the beach they saw months ago. It starts flying again.
"Let's follow it!"
They take off running after the drone, following until they see a large white mansion. Elys gasps. "Holy crap..."
He walks forward, opening the door slowly. They both walk in, looking around.
"John. Elys. I've been waiting for you two."
They look up to see Jaha standing in front of them. He looks different. Very clean and proper, just like on the Ark.
"Welcome. We have so much to talk about and so little time. I found it. The City of Light is real."
Murphy glares, walking towards him. "You left us there!" He swings at him but immediately passes out from exhaustion.
"John!" Elys cries out as Jaha catches him.
"Come, Elys. We will let him rest."
He carries John into a bedroom and lays him on the bed. Elys sits down next to him and Jaha walks out.
He comes back with two glasses of water and two apples. He hands Elys one and puts the other on the table for Jaha.
"Elys, I'd like for you to come meet someone."
"I'm not talking to you until John wakes up." Elys glares up at him.
He nods. "Very well. Come find me when he awakens."
She drinks the water and takes a bite of the apple, hoping it's safe.
John wakes up a bit later. He panics until he sees her and then visibly relaxes.
"There's water and an apple for you. It's safe." Elys says, pointing to the table.
He sits up and starts to eat the apple.
"Jaha said to come find him when you wake up."
He drinks the water and then gets up. Elys follows him into the rest of the mansion. Jaha is on the floor as if meditating.
"Jaha? Hey. Wake up." He says, walking towards him.
"Thelonious isn't here, John. He's in the City of Light."
Elys gasps as they see ALIE standing next to him.
Murphy tenses up. "I know what you are." He says, angrily throwing his apple at her.
