CLARKE TOLD BELLAMY and Elys everything. The nuclear power plants left on Earth were melting down and would cause waves of radiation to spread over the earth. They only had six months. It would start with black rain. Then, there would be no drinkable water. Then, they would all die. But Elys couldn't bring herself to care.
They all returned to Arkadia the next day. They'd had a beautiful funeral for her father and buried him near the Ark.
Now, Elys sat in the cafeteria, drinking. So many things were going on. Things she could help with. But she simply didn't care. Ever since they came to Earth, she had faced trials and loss, she was sick of it. She wished she had just stayed on the Ark and died.
Her thoughts were interrupted as someone sat in front of her. She looked up to see the source of a lot of her pain. John Murphy.
She scoffed and stood up to walk away, but was stopped by Murphy grabbing her arm. She jerks it out of his grasp angrily.
"Elys, please..." He begs.
She turns to him, glaring. "Please what, Murphy? I told you to stay away from me. To never talk to me again."
"Elys, I'm sorry. For everything. For leaving you. For your father."
She laughs, bitterly. "Don't talk about him. If it weren't for you leaving with that bitch, she would've never been in Polis. And she would've never killed him to get to me. His death is on you, Murphy." She says, harshly, and storms away. She runs straight to Bellamy's quarters, collapsing on his bed and crying herself to sleep.

The next morning, Elys wakes up to someone shaking her lightly. She rubs her eyes and looks up to see Bellamy. He was wearing his guard's uniform.
"Morning. Up for an adventure?" He asks her.
She sighs, laying back on the bed. "Not really."
"We're going to Farm Station. To get a hydro generator."
"For what?"
"Raven says we can get the Ark sealed up. We'll grow our own food, get oxygen scrubbers, and get water from the hydro-generator." He says, excitedly. "So get dressed. We leave soon."
"No, Bellamy. I'm not going. I'd rather stay here and live out the rest of my life while I can. I don't want to die fighting. I want to die living." Elys says, looking up at him.
He sighs. "Elys, don't you see? We're not going to die. We're going to survive this."
She pauses for a moment before looking into his eyes. "Bellamy, maybe I don't want to survive..."
At that moment, she sees his heartbreak just from looking at his face. "Elys..." He whispers, sitting beside her and pulling her into his arms. "I know it's hard. You've lost your father and your brother. You've been screwed over royally. But you aren't alone. You don't have to just give up. I'm here. Clarke is here. Octavia is here. Kane and Abby are here. We love you... I love you, Elys. You're my best friend."
