WHEN THEY ARRIVED back at the Ark, Elys avoided Finn as much as possible. She could hardly look at him after what he had done to those people. Not to mention, Clarke wouldn't speak to her and Murphy either. She could tell she blamed them, too.

Elys sat at a table, drinking moonshine when Murphy came up and sat down across from her. She doesn't look up.

"Elys, how're you feeling?" He asks, softly.

Her eyes snap to his, glaring. "How do you think?"

He sighs and nods. "I'm sorry I couldn't stop him..."

Her glare falters. "It's not your fault, Murphy."

He shrugs. "I should've taken the gun away."

"You'd have gotten us all killed if you had even tried."

He sighs.

She looks up at him, tears filling her eyes. "I can't close my eyes without seeing their faces."

He gets up and sits next to her, pulling her into his arms. She buries her face in his chest.

She wasn't sure what was happening, but she was very much okay with it. She didn't know how she felt about Murphy anymore, but having him comfort her wasn't so bad.

Later, they found out that the grounders would call a truce between them if they gave them Finn. Elys was furious that anyone even considered it.

The grounders were closing in on their camp, so they decided to go to the dropship to hide Finn. They went separately as to not draw attention.

Finn made sure that he and Elys went together. They walk through the woods, silently for a while before he speaks up.

"I know you've been avoiding me."

Elys sighs. "I can't look at you without seeing them."

He stops, pulling her to face him. "Elys, I'm sorry, okay? If I could take it back, I would."

Tears burn in her eyes. "There were children..."

He pulls her into his arms as she begins to cry. She feels him shaking lightly and she knows he's crying, too. She suddenly feels bad for ignoring him when he needed her.

She hugs him back tightly, as he clings to her. She pulls back slightly after a few minutes and wipes away his tears. "I'm sorry for avoiding you, Finn."

He nods. "I'm sorry for what I did. I just, I lost it. I love Clarke. And the thought of them hurting her...I couldn't handle it."

She nods. "I know, Finn. But she's okay. And you're okay." She says, pulling him into a tight hug. "Come on, let's get to the dropship." She says, taking his hand in hers and continuing through the woods.
