Taehyung's heart hammered against his chest when he felt Jungkook tense under him. He clutched on to Jungkook's shirt as he stood up, putting the boy on the couch, Jimin immediately wrapping him in a safe hug.

"No, Jungkook," Taehyung whined as he tried to tug the boy back down, but he wasn't budging.

"You did this?" Jungkook asked, pointing towards Taehyung who was scared in Jimins arms.

He didn't want Jungkook to get hurt. He didn't want a fight to happen. He hated fights. He hated the thought of people hitting each other because they are both mad.

Taehyung's dad grunted, "The boy is clumsy."

"Bullshit!" Jimin suddenly yelled, glaring at his dad, who snapped his eyes over to Jimin.

"What ya say, boy? Or can I call you that? Look too pretty to be a man," Taehyung's dad sneered as he looked over Jimin, taking a step forward.

"And you are too much of a monster to be considered a human," Jungkook spat, stepping in his line of vision.

Taehyung's dad rolled his eyes, "Get out my house. I don't have time to deal with stupid teenage boys."

Jimin stood up, pulling Taehyung up, "Taehyung is leaving with us," Jimin said, supporting his friend so he wouldn't fall.

"Take the bitch. All he does is cry anyways. Worthless," His dad said, a look of disgust taking over his features.

"Is that what you thought about Lisa?" Taehyung spoke up, his heart hurting when he mentions his dear sister.

His dad smirked, "Lisa was very useful."

Taehyung pushed Jimin away as he lunged at his dad, but Jungkook caught his waist before he could reach him.

"How could you do that to her! You're her father!" Taehyung yelled, tears pouring out of his swollen eyes.

"Yell at me again, and I won't stop until you aren't breathing," His dad yells back, his hand forming a fist.

"I hate you!" Taehyung sobbed as Jimin pulled him out the door. Taehyung continued to cry as Jimin helped him into his car. Jimin stood between Taehyung's legs as he sat inside the car. Jimin pulled Taehyung's hands away from his face, whispering to him as he tried to calm the boy down.

"You're okay, Tae. He won't ever hurt you again, okay babe?" Jimin whispered, wiping Taehyung tears gently not to hurt him.

"H-he hurt her! He r-raped her!" Taehyung hiccuped, grabbing jimins neck and pulling him closer so he could hug him.

Jimin didn't care that he was squished and pressed against Taehyung's chest. He just let the boy cry it out.

Jimin saw Jungkook come out the house, his nose bleeding, same with his knuckles.

"We need to go," Jungkook said, his lips busted as well.

Jimin tossed the keys to Jungkook who was still fuming from anger. Jimin got into the seat with Taehyung and put him in his lap. Taehyung was soundless now since he had fallen asleep. He was still hugging Jimins neck, but he loosen up thankfully.

Jungkook drove out the driveway, speeding off.

"Jungkook slow down," Jimin said, his voice a little horse from crying himself. He was scared. For Taehyung and their selves. That man was clearly dangerous. He threatened to kill his own son.

"Jungkook!" Jimin hissed, hugging Taehyung tighter as Jungkook turned, making Jimin get pushed against the window.

"I almost killed him, Jimin," Jungkook confessed, sniffling as he held the steering wheel tighter.

Jimin widen his eyes, "What did you do?"

Jungkook shook his head. He couldn't tell him right now. It wasn't the time or place. He just needed to get to a safe place. They finally pulled up to a trailer that had red dust covering the walls, making the white look brown. Jimin looked at Jungkook in confusion, but Jungkook was already getting out.

He came over and helped the others get out, waking Taehyung in the process. Jimin let Taehyung walk since he didn't want to be carried and followed Jungkook up the the door.

Jungkook opened and they all entered the small home.

"Mom?" Jungkook yelled.

There wasn't an answer. Jungkook sighed and pointed to the couch, "Y'all sit there. I think I have some stuff for his wounds." He walks to a door and disappears behind it.

Jimin leads Taehyung over and they sit down. Jimin looks over Taehyung, but Taehyung just stares at the coffee table that has soda cans littering the surface.

Jungkook comes back out with a small box, moving the trash off the table and sitting in front of the boys. He opens the medical kit and takes out ointments and wipes.

"Okay, let me do your chest first so you can get a shirt on," Jungkook said, opening a cream and putting some in his hand.

"What's that do?" Taehyung asks.

"It helps heal bruises."

Jimin watches as Jungkook spread the cream over the dark spots on Taehyung's body. Taehyung winced at a few spots, but didn't say anything.

"Why do you have this, Jungkook?" Taehyung asks, looking up at the raven haired male.

Jungkook was focused on Taehyung's wounds that he almost didn't hear him. "My dad use to need it."

Jimin didn't know what to say. For the first time he was speechless. He never realized how good he had it. He had a nice house with two parents who loved him, even if it was in a different way. He never had to worry about a sibling getting hurt in his own house, or worrying about money problems. He just had to deny girls that his parents threw his way. He was blessed.

Jimin bit his lip as he guilty teared up. He stood up and walked towards the door, "I need a minute," he mumbled before walking out.

He let the tears fall once he was alone outside. He dropped to the ground, pulling his knees up. Even though he's only known them for a few weeks, he has grown emotionally attached to the two boys. He cares for both of them a lot. They where his best friends. Just knowing Taehyung had been hurt that bad physically and emotionally, makes Jimin so sad. Knowing Jungkook has been living in a trailer the size of the one his dad rented when they went camping one summer just makes it worse.

Inside, Jungkook was still angry. He's always had a hard time controlling his anger, But this time he had a pretty good damn reason to be pissed. As he put the cream over his bruises, he couldn't help but to notice how skinny Taehyung actually was. His ribs were sticking out and he was scared that the boy was actually starving. All because his fucking father. The man that is supposed to protect you. The man that was the one Taehyung needed protection from.

"Are you okay?" Taehyung asks, bending his head down to look into Jungkook's dark eyes.

Jungkook meets Taehyung's worried eyes and stopped moving. How could he ask him that? Jungkook was literally helping his wounds and he asking if he's okay. This boy cares so much about others it's crazy.

"Yeah. How are you feeling?"

Taehyung shrugged, "My biggest secret is out. I'm just waiting for y'all to leave, if I'm honest."

Jungkook's eyebrows furrowed, "Why would we do that?"

Taehyung looked down and slightly shrugged again. He was so weak. He bet that he got on everyone's nerves since he can't stand up or fight for himself. He has to have people do it for him. It's always Jungkook doing it. It must be so annoying.

"Don't you hate that you always have to help me?" Taehyung asks, his voice lowering from the lack of self confidence.

Jungkook couldn't believe how much Taehyung doubted himself. He always thought that he was a problem, but everyone else just didn't know how to treat him right.

Jungkook put his hand under Taehyung's chin and lifted his head. He looked straight into Taehyung's sorrowful eyes, "We aren't going anywhere. I'm not. I will always be here to save you, Tae."
