"Jimin! This is Jia and her brother Minsoo," Jimin's mother said, pointing to them as they sat at the dining table.
Jimin bowed and walked over to the seat in front of the two strangers. He knew the girl was the next victim of his parents, but he was way more interested in her brother that sat next to her.
"Jimin, you go to public school, right?" Jia asks, sitting as stiff as Jimin.
Jimin nodded, "Yes."
Jimin looked over at Minsoo and watched him eat. He was cute, and he did his best to not stare too much since his parents were watching him like a hawk.
Dinner finally ended and they both left. Jimin argued with his parents a little before he ran to his room, startling Taehyung who was drawing on Jimin's ginormous bed.
Jimin started to undo his tie and groaned, throwing it off. He started to get undressed, making Taehyung awkwardly look somewhere else. It's not like he could tell him to change somewhere else. It's his room.
"Stupid girls," Jimin muttered as he changed into sweatpants and a shirt, jumping on the bed next to Taehyung.
Jimin tried to peek at the notebook in Taehyung's lap, but Taehyung quickly hid it.
"Well, what is it?"
Taehyung shook his head, "No, it's not finished."
"So?"
"Jimin." Taehyung said, giving him a stern look. Jimin sighed and left it be. Jimin picked up his phone and scrolled through the multiple messages and notifications.
"Wow, aren't you popular."
Jimin faintly smiled, "Yeah. It's not that fun though."
"Why's that?"
Jimin ignored Taehyung's question and turned towards him with a big smile.
"You should make an Instagram!"
Taehyung furrowed his eyebrows, "I don't think so."
"Yeah! You would be a hit! Your attractive and shit," Jimin mumbled as he started to make a new account, not even bothering to care if Taehyung wanted one or not.
Taehyung blushed, but didn't say anything. He just watched Jimin set up the account.
"What do you want your name to be?"
"Taehyung?"
"Seriously? Try to be creative."
"TaeTae?" Taehyung suggested.
Jimin tried it but shook his head, "Taken."
Taehyung shrugged, "You pick it, please."
Jimin bit his lip in thought, smiling when he started to type.
"Why is it B B Tae?"
Jimin chuckled, "It's supposed to sound like baby Tae."
"Wait what?"
Taehyung snatches Jimins phone and shook his head when he looked over at Jimin, "Isn't that stupid?"
"No," Jimin says, snatching is phone back, "it's cute."
Taehyung sighed and let Jimin continue, "Fine. I trust your opinions."
Jimin smiles in pride and sits up. He pulls Taehyung up and starts to mess with his hair.
"What are you doing?" Taehyung asks as he tries to stop Jimins hands.
"Have to make you look good for your profile picture!"
Taehyung just sighed and let Jimin do what he wants.
Jimin raises his phone, and leans over pushing a button on his lamp, making the light red. Taehyung gasps and looks around, "How? What?"
Jimin chuckles, "I can change the color. It's awesome to take pictures with."
Jimin takes candid a picture of Taehyung and then one when Taehyung smiles at the camera. He lets Taehyung decide witch to put as his profile picture and then post the other for his first picture.
"You're great to take pictures of. You should become a model," Jimin states as he switches to his account to follow Tae's.
Taehyung blushes and shrugs, "Not my thing."
"What is your thing?"
Taehyung takes in a deep breath and leans over, picking up his old notebook. He hands it to Jimin, "I like to draw."
Jimin's lip curled up, "Yeah?" He asks as he opens to the first page. It was of a tree. Jimin could tell that it was a starting point for Taehyung since it wasn't really detailed. He continued to flip and look at the pictures. Soon the objects turned into people and scenes.
Most of them was of a boy with no face but you could just tell he was sad. Jimin knew Taehyung was drawing himself and he frowned at the thought.
He flipped to the last page that Taehyung was working on, his mouth parting in shock.
It was of him and Jungkook. They where both laughing, the pond in the background. Jimin looked up at Taehyung who gave him a small smile, "It's not finished yet," he said.
"Holy shit, Tae. This is amazing! How did you draw this?" Jimin laughed, looking over the details.
Jungkook was wearing that black bomber jacket that he wears all the time and Jimin was wearing a plain shirt, nothing really special about it. Jimin really appreciated the little drawing.
"What's the reason?" Jimin asks.
"Uhh, I just wanted to draw you two how I see y'all. When you guys look the best."
Jimin breathes in deeply. Taehyung didn't draw him as rich. His hair wasn't perfect in the picture and he didn't add in his gold watch. It was just Jimin as a person and not as a wealthy guy. Jungkook looked a little different because it's rare to see him smile so big that all his teeth are shown.
"Was it hard to draw Jungkook's smile?"
Taehyung shook his head, "No. I have his smile burned into my mind."
Jimin nods. It was a smile that was hard to forget. Jimin wondered why Jungkook didn't smile like a regular person. They only time he's seen it was when he laughed but even that was rare.
"I love it. You're a great artist, Tae," Jimin says, running his finger over the shirt he was wearing in the picture.
Taehyung smiled and put some hair behind his ears, "Thank you. It means a lot coming from you."
Jimin looked over at Taehyung as the red light made his features more sharp. Taehyung looked back at Jimin and shyly smiled, bringing his knees up closer to his body.
"I'm glad you're here, Tae," Jimin speaks up, unconsciously hugging the notebook to his body.
Taehyung smiles. He was glad to be here too. He doesn't have to be scared and on edge, not worry about hiding bruises, and finally having a friend who cares for him. It was a nice feeling.
"Me too."
