"I need a vkook moment"

Jungkook and Jimin decided to not skip another day of school since they have missed way too many, most of them trying to take care of a Taehyung.

It was Wednesday, and Jimin was picking Jungkook up for school.

"You look tired," Jungkook says as he buckles himself in.

Jimin nods, yawning once he got reminded, "Yeah, I can't sleep well without Tae."

Jungkook nods, "That can't be healthy."

"I know," Jimin says as he backs out of the driveway, "That's why I never want Taehyung to leave me."

Jungkook slowly nods, "Do you think he will?"

Jimin takes in a deep breath.

"No, I don't."

Jungkook respects his confidence.

"Jimin, I should move on, shouldn't I?" Jungkook asks, looking over at him. Jimin clenched his jaw noticeably.

Jimin slows down once he comes to a stop sign, "Jungkook, that's something you shouldn't ask me. You know my answer as his boyfriend. But as your friend, I want you to figure it out yourself." Jimin says, gaining speed once he gets closer to school.

Jungkook doesn't say anything as he looks ahead of him.

"And I suggest not reminding me that you're in love with my boyfriend. Really doesn't put me in a good mood."

Jungkook sighed and pushed his black hair back, "I know, I'm sorry."

"Don't apologize. You can't help it. I definitely understand why you like him. I mean, he's Taehyung." Jimin says, a small smile appearing.

Jungkook unconsciously smiles as well at the mention of the cutie. "Is Taehyung going to be alone all day?"

Jimin shakes his head, "No, I asked Namjoon and Hoseok to keep him company."

Jimin pulls into his parking space and stops the car. They both get out, walking beside each other into the building.

Jimin spots Yoongi leaning against a locker, smirking down at some girl. Jimin rolls his eyes, "I had no idea he was a student here when I met him."

Jungkook looks over as well, "He's new. I heard some rumors that he's a senior."

"Ahh."

"Yeah, I can't believe you almost let him fuck you."

"I wasn't," Jimin said, pushing past people, "We were just making out."

"Still."

"Knock knock!"

Taehyung looks over to the door, a small smile spreading on his face when Hoseok comes in, all smiles.

"TaeTae!" Hoseok excitedly exclaims, giving him a hug.

"Hey, Hoseok."

Namjoon comes in after, carrying a bag, "Thanks, Hoseok. I love carrying your crap."

Hoseok ignores him.

"So, how are you feeling?"

Taehyung shrugs, "Good. A little sore."

Namjoon sits down, "I bet. Getting shot must hurt."

"Jimin told you everything?"

They both nod.

"Everything?"

"Yeah. Sorry about your dad. He sounds like a shithead."

Taehyung snorts, "Thanks, I guess."

Namjoon opens the bag, taking out a to-go box, "We got you some breakfast. Hope you're hungry, if not I will eat it."

"I'm actually starving, thanks."

They all eat and chatted about little things. Taehyung was really glad that Jimin sent them to keep him company. They both liked to bicker, but they were clearly best friends. And that comforted him for some reason.

"How long have you guys known each other?"

Namjoon thinks, "Since, like, middle school."

"Yeah, middle school." Hoseok agrees.

"Wow, have you guys ever dated at all?"

"I'm not gay," Hoseok says, "And Namjoon isn't either."

Taehyung eyes widen and he looks at Namjoon, "Wait, I thought Jimin's parents tried to hook you two up!"

"Yeah, well they assumed and I didn't tell them no. They are my bosses after all."

Taehyung bust out laughing.

Taehyung smiles when Jungkook enters the opening by the pond. The sun was almost set making everyone have a dark glow.

"Taehyung, what are doing here?"

Taehyung smiles, "I don't know. I was hoping you would show up."

Jungkook beams and walks closer, "Yeah? What's on your mind?"

Taehyung smiles up at Jungkook who looks down at him. Taehyung really liked how Jungkook always seems to be there for him. He really did.

"I just missed you."

Jungkook laughs and puts his hands on Taehyung's hips, "It's been a day, my love."

Taehyung giggles and raps his arms around Jungkook's neck, "A day too long!"

Jungkook laughs and lightly dances as he holds on to Taehyung. He spins him around, Taehyung giggles.

"Jungkook, this is the best date ever."

"You made this a date?"

"Of course, do you know me?"

Jungkook laughs and pulls Taehyung close, "Then let this be the best date ever."

Taehyung smiles and grabs Jungkook's face, bringing him closer.

Just as they are about to kiss, Taehyung gasps, sitting up in the dark hospital room. Alone.

Taehyung has sweat coating his forehead, a blush spread across his cheeks.

"What the hell?" Taehyung asks himself, calming his heart rate.

This could not be good.
