Taehyung told Yoongi that he didn't want to go up to the roof because he didn't want to see Jungkook. Yoongi understood and skipped lunch with him, after telling Jimin that's what they were doing.

Jimin understood and wanted to skip with them, but Yoongi told Jimin that he should straighten Jungkook out instead.

When Jungkook appeared to only see Jimin, he wasn't too surprised but he was still a little hurt.

"Where's Tae?"

"Avoiding you," Jimin says as he starts to climb up the stairs.

Jungkook sighs as his tone. He too wasn't happy with Jungkook, but Jungkook didn't care at the moment. He was just angry about whoever hurt Jimin and now Taehyung.

"Why can't you ever just breathe when you get angry? I mean, you took that way out of proportion and pretty much told Taehyung that he couldn't fight off his attacker and you made fun of his moral to not hurt people," Jimin says as he sits down, "and you know why he doesn't like to hurt people. That was such a fucking dick move."

Jungkook smacks his lips and looks off into the distance, "It wasn't that deep."

"I really don't like the person you are when you're mad," Jimin says, "he's just like every other douche around."

Jungkook snaps his head over to Jimin, "Seriously? I'm angry that someone hurt the person I loved and that makes me a douche? Fuck that, Jimin. So what if I lash out sometimes? At least I fucking do something."

Jimin just shook his head in disbelief. Jungkook really thought that he was doing the right thing when he gets enraged. Being mad like that just gets him in trouble.

Jimin turns his head to look at Jungkook and says, "When you lash out you hurt the people you love mentally. How is that any better than someone hurting us physically?"

Jungkook just looks away from Jimin's stare. He knows Jimin is right. He knew he had anger issues, but he didn't want to deal with it. He just couldn't help it.

He knew he should talk to Taehyung.

"You don't have to eat lunch with me," Taehyung tells Yoongi as Yoongi sits down across from him, "I kinda want to be alone."

"Sorry, kid. I don't want you to be alone when Ralph is still here."

Taehyung sighs and picks at his school salad. Taehyung and Yoongi were in the lunch room. Taehyung hates all the loud talking and noises. He much rather be on the roof, but he just didn't want to see Jungkook at the moment.

"I just wish... I just wish that everything could go back the way it was before," Taehyung says, looking up at Yoongi who was watching him, "before I ruined everything and now everyone suffers."

Yoongi cleared his throat, "Back to before? Before we were so close?" Yoongi asks, "or before when I kept my secrets to myself and suffered alone?"

Taehyung looked up a little curious at Yoongi's statement.

"If what happened to you never happened, then we may have never became best friends," Yoongi says, "...I had a date."

"A date?"

"A date to kill myself."

Taehyung's eyes sadden as his lips turn downwards, "What?"

Yoongi takes in a deep breath, "I wasn't happy. I had nothing to live for. And I had started to care about you but I still had the date. After what happened to you I forgot about it and wanted to help you. I wanted to be here. With you," Yoongi says, "you literally saved my life, kid. So you shouldn't say you made everyone suffer."

Taehyung's eyes started to water. He saved Yoongi's life? Why did he never tell him that? How didn't Taehyung notice how much Yoongi was suffering? Yoongi kept in his own misery to let Taehyung cry to him so many times.

He really couldn't ask for a better friend.

Yoongi walked around the table and sat next to Taehyung who had tears running down his face. Taehyung brought Yoongi into a hug, "I'm so sorry."

Yoongi just chuckled, "It's okay. I'm okay now."

"Are you?" Taehyung pulls back and asks.

Yoongi looks at him. He looked at his puppy eyes and cute little face. He was just a kid. A kid who was innocent but had had the worst things imaginable happen to him. Yoongi loved this kid. Him and his little brother would have been best friends.

That's how Yoongi knows Taehyung was supposed to be in his life. He was supposed to help Yoongi. And he still is because Yoongi may not show his feelings often, but he still isn't how he used to be before his brother.

"Yeah," Yoongi says, giving Taehyung a small smile, "I am."

At the end of the day, Jungkook caught up with Taehyung before he could reach Jimin's car.

"Taehyung!" Jungkook called, making him turn around, "I need to apologize."

Taehyung blinks and nods, "Okay."

"I'm sorry," Jungkook says, "I shouldn't have said that."

"Then why did you?"

Jungkook sighs and licks his lips, "I just— I guess I don't have an excuse for my anger. I know I hurt you. I don't mean too, you are literally the last person I would ever want to hurt."

"Why?" Taehyung asks, crossing his arms, "because I'm so weak?"

"No!" Jungkook says, "because you get shit thrown your way all the time. You are not weak at all. I couldn't have handled half the stuff that you have," Jungkook says, stepping closer.

"At least you could fight them, right?"

Jungkook sighs deeply, his hand coming up to rub the corner of his eyes, "Love, I didn't mean to insult you like that."

"No, it's fine," Taehyung says, "I know I couldn't fight off Ralph and that other guy. Thank God you came and fought him for me."

Jungkook didn't like Taehyung's petty remark. He didn't know why Taehyung was being like this. Usually he forgave pretty easily. He was a cutie, but right now Jungkook didn't know where the cutie went.

"Taehyung."

"No," Taehyung shrugs, "it my fault I was about to get raped because I don't like to fight. You're right, Jungkook. The world should fight to solve problems," Taehyung bitterly shrugs.

Jungkook was shocked at his words, "I'm not blaming you for getting raped."

"Sure sounded like it," Taehyung snapped.

"No it didn't!"

Taehyung just uncrosses his arms and rubs his eye, "I'm tired of violence. I'm tired of harassment. I'm tired of everything, Jungkook," Taehyung says, "I don't want to have arguments over things that children get scolded over."

Jungkook watches Taehyung huff, "If you cant learn to control yourself, then I can't be with you," Taehyung says, looking up at Jungkook.

Jungkook's heart starts to beat faster in fear, "What? What do you mean?"

"If you can't control your anger, then I can't be with you in this relationship, Jungkook," Taehyung says, blinking when he sees Jungkook's hurt expression, "you keep hurting me. And what if someday you get so angry you don't use your words to insult me anymore but your fist?"

Jungkook was frozen in shock, his mouth gaping. Taehyung swiftly wiped a tear from his eye and gave Jungkook a sad look, "Please think about it," Taehyung whispers, walking away.

Jungkookwas appalled at his words. He was horrified that Taehyung would think that. But, was it a lie? Would Jungkook get that angry?

Jungkook just watches as Taehyung gets into Jimin's car.
