TWELVE

Buster dragged my box and my dad helped with my traveling bag. My mom was holding my hand bag and we all walked into Janie's apartment. Her apartment wasn't that fascinating. It had a parlor and a dining plus a kitchen and one bedroom. Janie came out of the bedroom in her inners and my dad groaned.

"Pearl are you really sure you want to stay here." His eyes were on the stickers Janie decorated the walls with. At least, they were stickers and not something else lol.

I smiled. "Yes dad. Besides, it's just for a month till we get an apartment. Or even less than a month."
He shook his head. "This your friend doesn't look very.......organized." His eyes raked the whole room.

I laughed. "Dad I'll survive. Don't worry."

Mum then hugged me really tight. Janie just sat on the couch using her phone. My parents weren't comfortable at all but Janie wasn't that bad. She has been my friend for a while now.

My mom finally released me from that tight hug and pecked my forehead. She obviously had to stretch to do that cause I was taller.
"I'll miss you." Her eyes were watery.

"I'm not going off for a war guys."

They chuckled and hugged me again just that this time, Buster hugged too. I rolled my eyes.
"Okay okay it's enough now." I said walking to the door. "Now you guys could leave now."

They hugged me two more times before leaving. Ughh.

"Finally." Janie said and hugged me tight. "Eyyy I've got a new housemate."

I chuckled. "I'll soon be gone so enjoy the most of me now."

She laughed. "What are you gonna eat?"

"Toasted bread please." I said walking to the bedroom. I was familiar with the house already and she stopped.
"Uhm are you going into the..."

"Bedroom yes."

"Uhhh..." kelvin came out completely nude. I screamed and turned my back.

"Janie?"

She shrugged. "I'm sorry."
"What the hell?" I rolled my eyes. I was going to bear this nonsense for a whole month. Kelvin was just laughing like it was all a joke.

"Aii Pearl I've worn something." He said and I shook my head.
"That's not true."

"It is." I decided to believe and turned. He said the truth. "Gosh you guys must get a hotel room cause I ain't signing up for this shit."

They both laughed like it was a joke. I got into the room and it was a real mess. Oh Lordddd. The bed was scattered and their clothes were everywhere in the room. How did I know these people?

From my childhood, I've been very clean. My mom ensured that cause everything I did, she told me it must be hygienic. My room can't even be close to disorganized as this mess I was staring at.

Yeah, I was gonna clean it all up and so I began. I was already familiar with the house so I didn't need to be asking her,Janie for the location of some things.

I began with the dirty clothes. I put them in the laundry cause I wasn't going to wash that. I peeped and saw them watching a movie together. Awwn. Good, they won't disturb me in anyway.

I swept the room and dusted the dirty nook and cranny of the small room. Then I moved to the bathroom and began to clean. I then remembered last night, I really wished it was going to be Trevor but he didn't show up. I didn't even want to think of what they were doing in that bathroom. I'd just get pissed.

Maybe, she was offering him a birthday gift which was hmmmm annoying but nice let's say. He deserves a birthday gift hun? What do you think? Oh well, it hurts cause I also wanted him in that bathroom.

But, he rather see Ahneeka in the bathroom than see me not like I would even give him what she must have given him.

I was done cleaning the bathroom then I began to arrange the bed. Shit, the bed spray hadn't been changed for months. Why is this girl so dirty?

Oh well, I finished cleaning the whole room and arranging my things. I was too tired to do anything so I slept eventually. My muscles were really aching so that sleep was essential.

"Wake up bitch!" Janie spanked my butt and my eyes opened. "What the hell?" My sleepy voice was sexy though.

"You've been sleeping for hours. Hey, we're going to the cinema so get your ass up."
I stood up and walked drowsily to the bathroom. "You didn't even notice that your room is clean." I removed my clothes and got into the bath tub.

"Oh yeah. You did a good job. You know I can't do this."
"I know you're a pig."
She chuckled. "I'm just disarranged."

I just poured water on my body and got out of the tub. Janie didn't have a shower.
"Well kelvin loves you that way. Not like he's any different from you cause you guys have sex in such a messy place."
"No one cares Pearl. Oh well, I'm going to stay with the love of my life. Get dressed quick."

She said and left. I wore my cloth quickly and joined them in the parlor. She was kissing him and they didn't even recognize my presence. "Eyy I'm done."

They were still kissing which was very rude. "Uhh guys?"
Kelvin stopped. "Babe we'll keep her waiting."
"Shut up." She said and kept kissing his lips.

I heaved. "Hasn't it occured to you both that we'll miss some parts of the movie."
She looked at me. "Aww babe, someone's jealous."
He chuckled and I rolled my eyes. I got his keys from the dining table and walked out of the house.

"Bitch wait." Janie screamed and dragged kelvin so we could all go together. Well, kelvin drove this time so there wasn't any making out. That was good for now. In the cinema, they would.

We finally reached and kelvin bough the tickets with popcorn and drinks. Then, we got into the dark room and took our seats. They asked me if I was interested in staying in between them so I won't be left out but then I objected. Please, you can't be doing your love in my face.

The movie had already begun and I scolded Janie. She just laughed and continued her business with kelvin. Again, I was a third wheel. Not like I didn't see this coming but I couldn't say no to the cinema.

I didn't even start the movie from the beginning so it wasn't even interesting. I just decided to leave the place you know, get some natural air. I stood up and walked towards the exit then I bumped into someone.

I couldn't see properly but I was sure it was him. It had to be him.
"Are you hurt?" And his voice confirmed it.
