I thought Trevor never knew those words cause he never used them. I would never dream of him apologizing to me cause that wasn't even possible.
"I'm sorry I made you feel that way." He added and I tightened the hug. Trevor was really crossing oceans this night like he fucking apologized.

"Excuse me sir."

We released each other slowly like we would die if we didn't. I yearned for him already and we turned to see the police officer he was dialoging with some minutes ago.
"We would like you both to follow us to the station for some questioning since you were at the crime scene."

He looked at me. "Are you okay with this?"

I nodded. "Yeah it's fine."

"My keys are with Ahneeka."

"Going with their car is okay."

"Alright." He looked at the officer. That look was a way of saying let's go. He commanded alot of respect which was cool. We walked to the car and we got a ride to the police station.

"The man was tall and scary. He would have shot us but we ran." I said.

"Did it look like an accident?"

"That shit wasn't accidental." Trevor said.

"Can you recall his face."

"Yeah. I'm not a forgetful person." I said

"If we show you a picture, can you identify he's the one?"

"Fuck yes." Trevor said

"Where was the victim shot?"

"I didn't notice but I think it was a head shot." I said.

"This happened infront of the cinema?"

"No. In front of Cheewers. Where the seat is positioned?"

"Okay here's a picture. Say yes if he's the killer."

A picture was placed on the table and I could relate.
"Yes." I said
"Yes." He said.

"Thank you very much. You are free to go. Report any threats to us and we might need your help sometimes."

"I don't want to be disturbed." Trevor said and stood up.

"Okay thank you." I said and met him outside. He waited there throughout my questioning so did I. We weren't interviewed together.

Janie and kelvin were already waiting outside for me so was Ahneeka with his car.
"You good?" He asked.

"Yeah I am. You?"
"Don't worry about me."

I chuckled. "You know I would."

He handed my rubber band to me. "Felt like this should be returned."
I smiled. "I would need some help. Don't want to look sexy for some police officials."
He chuckled and helped me pack my red full hair.

"It's not perfect though."
As far as you did it, it's perfect. "I'll soon be home so it's okay."

We walked together to the counter to sign. He let me sign first then the woman behind the counter asked.
"Uhm sorry are you guys dating?"

I giggled and Trevor smirked. "Why don't you mind your work and act professionally?"
She laughed "I'm sorry but you two look cute together."

He looked at me and I was blushing. I couldn't help it. "Thank you." I said and he was done signing.

"You both should get married." She wrote her number on a paper and gave me. "Please invite me to the wedding." She giving me the paper was because I was the nicer one.

Trevor snatched the paper and threw it away while the woman and I laughed hard.
"Let's go." He said and we walked out of the station. I sighted my friend immediately who ran to hug me. Kelvin walked behind her.

"Are you okay?" She asked but I didn't answer. My eyes were just on Ahneeka and Trevor. She was just rubbing herself on him crying and he was petting her.  "It's okay Ahneeka. I'm fine."

Janie completely understood. "Comeon dear, let's go." She dragged me and we got into the car. I was really mad. Couldn't she just talk without rubbing her disgusting self on him?

"I saw it." Janie said and I squeezed my face harder. "She's just a bitch."

"A big one." I said.

Kelvin began to drive. "That bitch just reminds me of Collins."

"Really?"

"Yeah. I've known her ass before now."

"That's mad. How?"

"Okay I'll just tell you the whole story. I met Collins a year ago in a cafeteria and he was sitting with a bitch. Guess who that hoe was?"
"Ahneeka?"

"Exactly! They were taking something I don't care what it was. Then, he walked up to me."

"He did?" Kelvin asked.

"No babe don't interrupt me in times like this alot of guys have walked up to me so it's not a new thing."
"Okay I see." He said and she continued. I felt that was sort of rude but Janie didn't seem like she just acted rude. "So, he got my number and then began to ask me out after a while I fell for him and we started dating."

"Oh."

"But this bastard didn't want us to be known like he wanted something secretive like I didn't get at first."

"Why would he want a secretive relationship?"

"Cause, he was dating Ahneeka's sister, Madeline but she wasn't in this town. She was schooling in London so, he needed a side chick who would be satisfying him pending when his girlfriend is home for holidays."

"Woah. How did you know all these?"

"He told me by himself."

Seriously?"

"Yes! When she came to spend her holiday he told me everything and also told me that he wanted it secret cause Ahneeka could snitch at anytime."

This was really surprising. "You had to do something cause you couldn't let him go like that."

"Yeah I did. I told Ahneeka everything and she snitched and his girlfriend dumped his ass." We both laughed but Kelvin wasn't laughing. He didn't understand how funny this was.

"Then, he got back to me and was annoyed that I told Ahneeka then I reminded him that no one can just mess with me and go scot free."

"This was some deep shit."

"Yeah it was. I told him to pack out of my life and he did. From then we never spoke again until early this year, he messaged me telling me he was sorry and some shit about him wanting to be a changed person."

"Wow."

"I told him goodluck with that but, I still haven't forgiven him."

I shrugged. "You've got to let that go."

"I can't."

"The only reason why you won't forgive him is if you still have some feelings for him."

"I'm in love with Kelvin."

"Then fucking forgive him."

Kelvin parked infront of our apartment and we all got out of the car. He hadn't said anything yet since she shut him out.

Well, Janie's gist made me forget about Ahneeka but not completely. She has no idea that we kissed that was why she was still rubbing herself on him in that manner.

We got into the house and kelvin offered to sleep on the couch which was extremely relieving. I began to change into my pajamas. Today was really hilarious cause there was alot of drama that occurred today but most importantly, I kissed Trevor. I began to dance at that feeling. It was unbelievable.

He was just all in my head. The whole scene kept on playing again and again that I was disturbed. Just thesame way I thought of Brad. Oh Lord, please help me. I need you the most now.
