And that was how Trevor vanished for the night cause I waited for him in that room for like an hour and he didn't show up. He really had to man up and stop being scared.

I got out of the room and bumped into Brad. Wow this night's drama was just starting. His eyes got dim when our eyes met. I took a deep breath. Look I had to stop this bullshit and tell him. I didn't care what Trevor said earlier cause, I needed to tell them myself. Especially Brad.

"I'm sorry." He said and wanted to walk away but I held him back.

"Look Brad...."

He smiled. "You look beautiful." I returned the smile and he added. "It's been a while since I saw you."

"Uhm yeah." I looked at his lips. Now was the time I had to say it.

"You've got something to say? Cause you keep moving your mouth in a very cute way and no words are coming out. Damn. you're so cute."
I chuckled a little. "Yh that's positive...I've got something to say."

"Let it out." He shrugged.

"Uhhh..." How was I gonna say this? "Uhhh..." I had to say it. Okay damn it, I was gonna say it now. "I just wanted you to know that...."

Immediately, I felt a tight grip on my forearm and I was being dragged. I looked up and it was Trevor.
"What the hell?"

He kept on walking with me till we got outside where other people were. I thought he'll stop but nope, he didn't stop till we got to the parking lot. Then, I stopped and flung my hand out of his tight grip.
"Bullshit. What the hell just happened now? I was talking to....."

"You just told me he fucking likes you and you think I'll be comfortable seeing you two together."

"What? Nothing was going on. I wanted to inform..."

"Shit! I told you not to."

"Look I'm the one who determines what I'm gonna do." I said it slowly so he could understand.

"Shit." He brushed his fingers through his hair. Damn.

"We were having a normal conversation and I was..."

"No...you both were smiling."

"What's wrong with that?"

"You guys shouldn't be together often. Period."

Haha. "Trevor you're wilding if you think I'll do that." I turned my back and began to walk towards the house.

"Okay, let me take you somewhere else."

I continued walking. "Nope I'm going to meet Janie."

He caught up with me and held me by my waist. "She's with kelvin." I stopped walking.

"Then, I'll hang out with both of them."

"Please, Pearl. I wanna take you somewhere. Please."
I turned and faced him. Arms crossed.
"Where?"

He pecked my forehead. "Thank you for considering my...."

"It'd better be more awesome than this party." I didn't know but I wanted to spend more time with him. I liked being around him. That was the reason why I decided to follow him.

"Absolutely ma'am." We both laughed and he led me to his car. I got in and he drove away. I completely forgot that I planned to have deep discussions with Brad and David.
I got a text from David. Talk about the...angel.

**where are you at?**

**sorry, I left***

"Who's you texting?"

I rolled my eyes. "David."

**why?**

"Damn Pearl." He said exhaustingly.

"He's my friend. I can't just stop talking to him."

"I don't like people messing with my property."

Awww I licked my lips. "Ohh I've got a jealous boyfriend."

"Look Pearl, you're really attractive and amazing. I don't want anyone trying his luck on you cause he would obviously want to. I mean who wouldn't want to. Your hair is just dope. Everything about you is just the best so you know the rest. You can't blame me for being protective."

My cheeks were already red. All those words that came out of his mouth were just lovely. Why didn't I record that? I am so so stupid.
"You still here?" He asked and I cleared my throat.
"Damn that was amazing."

"Like you are. Especially your lips."

I blushed and he parked the car in front of Janie's house. I didn't even notice the route he was taking.
"You must be joking. You didn't drag me out of that party for this."

He chuckled. "Go get your clothes. We're sleeping over at my family house."

My eyes widened. "What!"

"Yeah. I want you to meet my parents. Come on I've been waiting on this moment for so long."

I gave him a long peck on his lips and he chuckled.
"Come on. Go get your things." He said and I jumped out of the car leaving my phone in the car. I opened the door like my life depends on it. Oh shit. Trevor was taking me to his parents but wasn't it late in the night. Well, that doesn't matter to him so why was I so concerned? I put some of my clothes in a small bag my grandmom gave me years back. Meeting his parents was just the bomb.

Anyone could tell that these were rich people so, I really had to compose myself and not show them that I was a complete crazy party type. I checked the mirror to see if my hair was scattered. Not really. Added a little perfume then I got out of the house and locked the door.

Since the incident of the murderer, Janie and I decided that the spare should be kept by Janie. After all, she's the owner of the house. I joined him in the car and I saw him using my phone.
"Don't tell me you went through my texts."
"No, I was just scrolling through your pictures."
He dropped the phone and then I remembered that I didn't lock my phone before leaving. Trevor's so protective and that was cute.

"Nahh I'm not falling for that."

He pecked my cheek. "Did you put on more perfume?"

"No." I lied and he figured out.

"Just be yourself babe. They're really nice people."
Babe. This was really what I wanted. Other boys call me babe but the way it sounded from his lips was completely different.

"I'll try to. I don't wanna mess things up."

"You can't and you won't."

He was so sure. Why couldn't I be as sure as he was?
"I hope so." I stretched my neck and bit his ear. "I love you babe and I want your parents to love me too."

He started the car. "Don't worry babe. They'll love you."

I hope he would be right. Meeting his parents meant something deep to me. That meant he cherished me. I don't know why I was thinking of marriage. Ha. Girl stop going too far. Come back to reality.
