Hi guys. I'm thinking of starting another book and I'll love you guys to read that too cause it's litttt! Eek! Oh well, don't forget to vote and comment after every chapter. I love you guys and I hope to improve on my updating game. So much tension right now haha. Keep on reading and find out what Trevor has been hiding.

"You good?" I heard a male voice and looked up to see a man wearing a leather jacket. His beards were attractive and his hair was neatly arranged. I tried to smile. "I'm."

He nodded. "the way you rushed into the bar like you were scared or something."
I chuckled with all of my energy. Yep! You're very right. I'm really scared right now.
"Oh, I'm very fine. Don't bother."

"Alright if you say so. Just that, if there's any problem you can talk to me. I own the bar." I had to get to Ahneeka and this guy was wasting my time.

Luckily for me,he winked at me and left like he had just read my thoughts.

I tried calling her but her line was switched off. I got even more furious. What's wrong with her that she can't save her battery when someone needs her the most? I dropped my phone on the table and got a text from Trevor.

**Babe where are you **

I deleted the message and thought of where Ahneeka would be at that time. I needed to know. Then I decided to ask Brad for her whereabouts until it hit me hard.

I could actually convince Brad to tell me what's going on. He doesn't know what happened between David and I so he would spill.

Without thinking any further, I dialed his number and he picked.
"Yo babe."

"Brad I need to meet you. Where're you at?" My voice was too fast.

"Uhh, are you okay?"

"I'm perfect. Just answer the question."

"O-k-a-y. Well, I'm at home."

"Address?"

There was a brief silence. "Woah Pearl what's so important that you have to meet me in my house?"

"It's really important. I can't say it over the phone......please, just tell me your address." I began to beg.

"Okay. I'll text my address. Shit. Just so you know, I only let girls that I'm going to fuck into my house."

That was meant to be funny but I couldn't even chuckle because I had more pressing issues. "You're sure not fucking this one."

"Today." He completed it for me and I chuckled. "Get off the line. I'll be there ASAP."
The call ended.

In no time, he sent his address and I left the bar. I wanted to open the uber app on my phone but I changed my mind. I took the bus instead. All I was thinking about was how I was going to convince Brad to tell me everything.
Everything in detail leaving nothing out. I got a call from Janie and I picked. "Hey school's over. You shouldn't have come."

"I have alot to take care of." I replied.

"Like what?"

Should I tell her? Janie was my best friend but you know all those advices like if you're having problems with your partner you shouldn't tell the whole world but just sort it out with your partner and things will be better, I was going to take that.

But, Janie was my best friend. She tells me everything. It wouldn't be fair to hide this from her. I was taking too long to reply so I had to come up with something fast. "I'll tell you everything this night."

"That was long. I'll remind you."

Then I remembered Isabella which brought me back to Trevor. Would I be able to forgive whatever secret he was hiding? I tried to push Trevor out of my mind.

"We're having a visitor this night."

"Really! I love visitors. We'll watch Netflix together and take ice cream." She giggled.

"That's exactly what I told her." Janie and I were similar in a funny way. You couldn't blame us. We were best friends.
She chuckled. "Aww. Too bad."

"What now?"

"I'd love to meet our visitor but tomorrow's Kelvin's birthday. I can't afford to sleep at home. I'll have to be with him and let him fuck me like never before."

"Oh my God. Janie. Language."

She laughed. "I'm just being honest."

"That's too much. Geez."

She laughed harder. "Who's this visitor?"

I forgot to mention that she's Trevor's ex.
"Isabella. Trevor's ex."

"Shit. Are you serious? I bet she's really nice."

"I'll give you that one. I was really surprised when I met her."

She chuckled. "Where're you?"

"I'm in a bus."

"What? What are you doing in a bus? Trevor couldn't drive you or what?"

"Like I said earlier I'll explain everything to you."

"I'm not coming home tonight so what now?"

"I'll tell you when next we see."

"Okay. I'll still remind you."

"Right ."

"So this isa babe. Is she pretty?"

"You would have known by yourself if you didn't decide to give your boyfriend a really lovely present tonight."

"Lovely dirty snack you mean."

"You are one vulgar child." I said and we both chuckled.

"Bye bitch."

"Bitch bye." I chuckled and she cut the call. I rested my back on the chair and noticed that this bus was crawling. It was just too slow. Now I had my thoughts to eat me up cause I wasn't doing anything.

And it began. Trevor. Trevor and I had been through a lot and we even started dating so why could he do that to me? Why did he keep a secret from me? I was very positive that that secret had a whole lot to do with me.

I shook my head and to my relief, the bus stopped. I was really glad as I jumped out of it and started walking towards Brad's house. I didn't even realize when I started running. I was too anxious and I couldn't take it anymore. I stopped in front of his house and hit the doorbell with much pressure that I was scared I had already spoilt it.

There was no sound from the other side and I hit it again but with lesser pressure. "Brad!" Impatience was killing me.

There was still no answer. Maybe, he wasn't home. Maybe, he just wanted me to come here for nothing. That makes no sense at all. I rested my head on the door out of frustration and it opened. It wasn't locked. I wasn't meant to just enter his house without permission but I did. I was welcomed with the strong smell of cigarette.

I walked further into the house and saw Brad on a sofa with beer bottles on the table and a cigarette stuck between two of his fingers. He wasn't looking at me but, he was aware that I was there.

I cleared my throat in disgust. "You sounded absolutely sane when I called you not wasted as you are now."

He gave me a death glare and I moved back in fear. Why was he looking at me with so much hatred?

"Brad...I...." I tried to explain that I was leaving but he interrupted me as usual.

"David told me everything on the phone."

"Ha." I gasped.

Don't move on to the next chapter without voting. Love ya!
