Janie told me that she was at my house with kelvin so I had to rush back home. They were already eating the red velvet my mum must have baked.
"You're late." Janie tried to say with a lot of cake stuffed in her mouth.
"My mom taught me how to talk without food in my mouth." I fired back feeling really good.

"I don't take orders from my mom anymore." She said with a big smile.
"Come here." We hugged each other tightly.

Kelvin smiled and joined the hug. It lasted for a minute.
"I am so sorry Pearl." Kelvin said to me and I nodded.
"No worries. Does everyone know?" I looked at Janie and she nodded.
"Yeah every single person at school knows. They were planning to come visit you for the second time since you're awake."

"Second time?"
"Yeah, they were here when you were unconscious but Trevor drove them away. He said it'll be better if they presented those gifts to you while you were awake."
Aww that was so nice of him. "Did you know what he did to me also?" My voice broke.

"No one knows the full story. What most people know is what happened between you and David and all he said. The video went wild for a while. Some rumors said that if it wasn't Ahneeka that shot you, it'd have been David cause you really slapped him."

I shook my head. " you really need to know the full story."
She nodded and turned to her boyfriend. "Babe, we'll be back." I winked at kelvin and both of us walked into my room. She jumped into my bed and I began to change.
"So, where do I start?"
"Uhh why don't you start from the bus when you told me that you were going to get some info...."

I chuckled. "Yeah I was heading to Brad's house then."
"Positive. So what happened?"
I continued the story. Jamie's facial expressions through out the whole gist were really funny. She was more than flabbergasted when I told her about the dare.

"I never expected that from Trevor." She said and I laughed.
"Me too."
She looked at me for a while and I frowned. "Why are you staring that much?"

She held my hand and said. "I'm aware that all what they did was sad and annoying and I really hate all of them now but, you've got to meet them tomorrow."
I took in a deep breath. "I can't...."
"You have to. Everyone makes mistakes. You have to forgive them."

I looked at her carefully. "Seeing Trevor is the last thing on my mind now."
"I know that's why I want you to try...."
Tears dropped from my eyes. She moved closer to me and gave me a warm hug.
"It's okay to forgive Pearl. That's the best thing you can do now. Come on, you can't keep holding this grudge against them. Think of your emotional health."

"Janie....."
"Ssshh. Don't say anything if it's not yes."
I chuckled lightly. "You must be kidding..."
"Sssshhhh!" She hissed louder and I laughed.
"Okay, fine! I'll go see them! Happy now."
She grined at me. "Yass queen. Hey, I'm starving. I need more of that delicious cake with the recipe.... I really need that recipe."
"Ohh shurup. You think my mom would share her secret recipe with you. You must be dreaming."

She used the pillow to hit my head and I shook my head.
"Greatest mistake!" I said grabbing the second pillow and hitting her too. Janie always made me smile whatever the situation I was in. That was why I loved her.

Trevor's POV
Life has been more than miserable since i spoke to her. Her eyes were burning with hate and anger. I'd never seen her like that. I wish I could just correct things but I knew that it wasn't even possible. She would never forgive me.
My phone rang beside me and I looked at my phone's screen. It was Brad. I was meant to beat the hell out of him but Collins told me that it wasn't necessary. He had the effrontery to tell her everything. We would have been fine if she didn't know anything. David was the beginning of all these. He couldn't keep his emotions down and he went to the public spilling everything.
I picked the FaceTime call.
"Hey man. Are you still in bed? It's afternoon man." Brad said.
"Why did you call me?"
"Well, I told Pearl to meet us at Temples street this morning...."
"What? Why?" That's the dumbest shit ever.
"I thought it'd help things. Especially you. You've been wasted since the whole drama...." I wasn't even listening to what he was saying. I hadn't seen her for some days now and it felt like a year. I'd missed her pretty face and eyes. Her lovely unique hair. She was meant to be an african cause her hair wasn't like the hair people here have.

"How was she?" I broke into what he was saying. He was confused for a while.
"Tell me you weren't listening to me."
"Was she okay?"
He rolled his eyes. "Yup she's good. Her eyes were a little swollen cause I'm sure she cried alot."
I felt a sharp pain in my chest. She couldn't be going through all that pain. This was all my fault. I was so stupid.
Brad shook his head. He had noticed. "You could really die for this girl you know."
Yes I could. She has been through a lot all because of me.
"So are you coming?" He asked me.

Collins opened the door and landed on the bed. He slept in my house since his car had some issues that I don't care about.
"Hey Brad!"
"Oh hey man! I was just asking Trevor if he'll be there."

Collins laughed. "Of course he'll be there. He has to come back to life. Trevor you're becoming dead. Wakeup man!"

"Yeah, David's the worse. He hasn't eaten anything since that day."

Collins laughed hard. "Woah, this was a bad idea."
Brad let out a big laugh. "I know right. We have to see her so we'll all be mentally stable. This isn't a joke....."

"I'm not coming." I said.
They both looked at me. "Are you for real?" Collins asked.
"I ain't coming! You guys can go apologize and shit!" I stood up from the bed and walked into the bathroom.
