Life isn't really deep as people would say but these 'boy drama' was getting me off the hook. I couldn't even think straight anymore. The rain drops fell on the windows of the car and I wind up completely before it would touch my skin.

I rested my back to the chair thinking hard. Trevor had said he liked Ahneeka so why couldn't I see Brad in that same light I saw Trevor. This wasn't normal again.

The car paused infront of my house and I got down. Brad was going to settle the bills so I watched the car drive away. The rain was getting me soaked so I rushed to open the door but it was locked.

I didn't lock the door before leaving with Brad so maybe Janie was here already but probably had left. Yeah, I had my own keys so I checked where I usually hid them. Under the yellow vase pot. Not really a good hiding spot but I didn't care.

I checked my hiding spot and surprisingly didn't see the key. What the hell? I tried searching around but didn't find it and this rain wasn't making anything better.

I took in a few breath and got my phone to call that bitch. Maybe she took the keys but why would she take mine? Ughh anyways.

I searched for her name as the-rain dropped on my phone's screen.
I wiped it but it still persisted and then I looked up in frustration. It was dark and rain was falling. I would have been hungry but Brad had already taken care of that.

"Are you looking for these?" I heard an unfamiliar mansculine voice behind me . I turned to see a very hefty man with the bunch of keys in his hand. I heaved.

"What are you doing with those?" My hands were now behind me.

"I just broke into your house and I was meant to return the keys but you arrived so you can fix all the tiles together." I swallowed in spit as I recognized him. He was the murderer Trevor and I saw. I tried to be bold so I began to search for the number 9 since I was already in the phone app.

"What do you want from me?"

He chuckled like those evil men in movies. He came closer to me and I moved back. "Don't come near me!" I shouted and he laughed hard. Damn. That was a sign of weakness. He pointed his gun at me and I froze. Oh my God!

"Would that be your last words?"

Tears gathered in my eyes but I still tried to gather any more courage in there. "What did I do to you? Why would you want to kill any random girl?!"

"Cause you and your boyfriend are the only ones on this earth who know my identity! So, why won't I fucking kill you both!" He shouted and I stepped back. I shook my head. "You shouldn't do this."

"I will. This isn't your house cause I searched everywhere but found only little info about you."
I gulped another spit. "It's my friend's. Don't harm her. She's innocent."

He laughed in amusement. "I'll kill y'all."

"Fuck you!" I shouted to him and he stopped that disgusting laughter. He widened his eyes and then looked at my phone in my hands. He walked up to me and saw that I was dialing 911 like it took me ages to find number 9 on my phone.

He hit my head with the gun and I fell to the ground. He then tried to snatch my phone but I hit his leg with mine and he yelped. He then reached for my phone again but I had already picked and told them the address.

" You little witch." I reached for the vase pot and broke it on his head and then he shot a bullet. I fell to the ground in fear. What if I got shot? I was relieved when I realised that I missed it. I had hit his head hard already so he had lost his ability to aim. And then I heard sirens. I looked back at where he was but didn't see him.

I looked around and then it dawned on me that he had escaped. The police cars parked infront of my house and they came up to me.
"What happened?"
"The murderer.... the murderer...." I stammered and I was led to the car.

Great, I got a bandage on my head. I sat there dialing Janie's number finally. The rain was still falling but heavier now. I was already investigated by the-same people. It was then that I realised that the murderer was a terrorist in this city. He was paid to kill people but now, my life was in danger. According to him, I knew his identity. Janie picked.

"Bitch!"

"Bitch, where are you? I was assaulted."

"Shit. I'm at kelvin's. He said I should be with him as an apology gift."

"Ohh."

"Baby, hope you ain't hurt?"

"Got a bandage."

"Where were you? In the ghetto?"

"Nooo, I was right infront of the house."

"Damn. So you're at the station?"
"Yeah."

"We'll come pick you up."

I nodded. "Please do. I can't tell my parents."
"I'll be there bitch. Give me ten minutes. We'll be there."

I cut the call quicker than I would normally cause of the sirens that approached the station. I opened candy crush on my phone and noticed people walk in and I turned to see Ahneeka, Trevor and some policemen.

My breath quickened wondering if anything wrong happened to him. He was holding her and I rolled my eyes. I really wanted to walk up to him but I just couldn't.

He rested on the counter explaining himself and then he turned to my direction. My eyes were fixed on his as he rushed up to me.

"Uhmm excuse me..." the woman said and Ahneeka turned to see the reason why he left. His eyes fell on the bandage on my head and he folded his fingers into a fist.

"That bastard." He cursed under his breath referring to the murderer obviously. I stood up dropping my phone on the seat. I didn't want to talk to him but I couldn't help it.
"Are...are...you hurt?" I asked and he hugged me ignoring me.

"Were you alone?"

I took in a deep breath still in his arms. "Yes."

"Where the fuck was Janie?"

"At kelvin's."

He released me looking at the bandage. "Go back to your parent's home..."
"Why?" I frowned. Why was he telling me what to do?

"Cause you're safer there. You can't be alone anymore."

"I am fine. I wasn't shot at least." I searched his body for any bullets but didn't see anything.
"You might not be lucky next time so just stop being alone..."

"He came for you right?"

"Yes he did but that doesn't matter."

"Did he hurt you?"

"He didn't but now he has cause he hurt you." His eyes were on the bandage and I smiled. He really cared for me so why didn't he want me? Why did he prefer her?
"Trevor?" Talk about the bitch and she appears. He turned and saw her face. She eyed me and looked back at him. Bitch please!
