Yuya: Also thanks to my Pendulum Scale I'm allowed to summon Odd-Eyes Phantom Dragon from my hand! (Atk: 2500) Now Phantom Dragon's ability activates dealing you 1200 LP for each Odd-Eyes on my field!
Slade: I use Obliterate! I discard the Right Arm of the Forbidden One from my deck to send Phantom Dragon back to your hand!
Yuya: Gah!
Slade: By the way Exodius gains 1000 ATK for each Exodia piece in my graveyard as well. (Atk: 1000) (Atk: 1000) (Atk: 1800)
Yuya: Odd-Eyes attack his Exodia Incarnate!
Slade: I activate my face down card, Negate Attack.
Yuya: I can't do anything to him!
Yuto: Just play that card face down Yuya.
Yuya: I set this card and end my turn.
Slade: (Draw) First off, every turn my Exodia Necross gains 500 ATK. (Atk: 2300) And second off I use Exodia Incarnate's ability to return that Right Arm to my hand. (Atk: 0) (Atk: 0)
Yuya: What's the point?
Slade: You'll see Yuya. I set one card face down and then I summon my Goblindberg. (Atk: 1400) and he allows me to summon another monster, I summon Ganbara Knight. I overlay them both to build the overlay network and XYZ summon Number 39: Utopia! (Atk: 2500) (OLU:2)
Yuya: A number XYZ monster?
Yuto: We used to hear stories about those things. Number 39 was the card of a duelist years ago.
Slade: Exodius attack Odd-Eyes!
Yuya: He has no attack points!
Slade: When Exodius attacks or is attacked I can send one monster from my hand or deck to the graveyard and give him 1000 ATK. I send the Right Arm that I obtained earlier. Now Exodius and Incarnate have 1000 ATK. (Atk: 1000) (Atk: 1000)
Yuya: That makes no sense! You just got it back to put it in the graveyard!
Slade: I use Utopia's ability. By giving away an overlay unit I stop my attack. Next I activate the quick-play spell from my hand Double or Nothing! This allows Exodius to attack again but with double strength. (Atk: 2000) And when he attacks I send an Exodia piece to the grave, this one is the Left Arm of The Forbidden One, power up Incarnate and Exodius! (Atk: 2000) (Atk: 3000) Exodius destroy Odd-Eyes!
Yuya: Agh! (3500 LP)
Slade: Incarnate attack him directly!
Yuya: Agh! (1500 LP)
Slade: I end my turn.
Yuya: Why didn't he finish me off?
Slade: And the effect of Double or Nothing wears off Exodius now. (Atk: 2000)
Yuya: Alright. (Draw) I use the Pendulum Scale to summon Odd-Eyes Pendulum and Odd-Eyes Phantom Dragon!
