I opened my eyes and lazily reached for the lil bitch that decided to wake up out of my sleep. I pressed the home button of my phone just to see a message from the one person i was never in the mood to talk to anymore.

i miss you... enjoy the first day of school. Tell Anna to answer my calls please. thanks

thanks. probably she's not ready for calls just yet. try texting her?

James:
left about 45 messages.... she still haven't answered ....

Elle:
that's kinda borderline stalkerish isn't it JAMES? can i call you that now JAMES? just give her a couple more months then try again ....

James:
you said that in May Elle ... its August... and yea sure u can call me James now i guess idk why ur stressing it so much though  .. i understand wasn't really a good step dad anyway

Elle:
your right JAMES maybe try again in the next three months :) as they say the third time a  charm ... or something like that? idk but i have to go later JAMES

After what seems to be the longest conversation I've had with my dad in the last couple of months , I lazily threw my phone down and made my way to my mom's room. The house that we had in New York  was way bigger than the house  I'm living in right now but because its just my mother and I living in it , its not as bad as i thought it would be . We both have our own rooms and  bathrooms so that's a good thing. My mom's room was just down the hall from mine along with two extra rooms for guests and the kitchen , washroom and the living room was just down stairs. We have a little patio at the back of our house  that's surrounded by the green grass that my mom then later planted some sunflowers , hibiscus flowers and some mint leaves which reminds her of when we lived in The Caribbean when I was 10. Sometimes I missed living in There and i always wondered why when she meet James when he came to visit the country we  had to move to New York to stay with his two other children , Mariana and Jacob, a couple months after. I think now she regrets that decision seeing as though he later cheated on her with:

Mary

Elizabeth

Anna ( what a coincidence)

and Bob.

I knocked on my mom's room when she later gave me permission to enter.

"Uncle James texted me this morning." i said while I laid with her in bed.

" He texted me too ... like 50 different times ... on Facebook , Instagram and imessage," she said while  turning to face me

" Really? he told me 45 times and since when did you have a Instagram?"

" Don't question me child," she joked, " Don't you have to get ready for school soon?"

I got up and looked at the clock. It was now 6:30 and i instantly felt a sinking hole feeling in my chest. It had finally occurred me that I am going to be starting at new school ,again, and I have to socialize with new people. In New York i didn't have much friends seeing as though i never made an effort to get some. My only friends were really Mariana who was 15 at the time and i was 14 while Jacob was 16. Seeing as though i am now 18 and I'm starting my last year of high school without them i decided that's it time for me to make friends.

pshh that couldn't be so hard right.....
