It has been almost two months since that awful night at the party. Jace and I haven't talked since and Shawn and I still haven't broken up. It's now December and time for our schools annual winter camp out for seniors tomorrow.Before we go off for winter break the seniors always do a camp out on the Friday night.
Dylan and I are now in Emily's room helping her pack for tomorrow.
" Babe do you really need this much clothes?" Dylan asked.
" I don't care if we are in Florida it's cold at night and there are mosquitoes. I'm not in the mood for that shit." She said trying to stuff more clothes into her Gym bag.
" You seem oddly calm about it. Seeing as though you're gonna be locked in a school with you're ex and current boyfriend." Dylan said trying to help Emily.
" Jace's not my ex and we haven't talked since that party....," I said playing with the key chain he gave me.
" You miss him Elle , ever since that party you're different. It's like part of you died that night." Emily said looking at me.
" Can we stop talking about this ? It's been a long time." I said looking out her window.
" Fine but it's been pretty awkward watching Jace and Shawn practically kill each other with their eyes and you and Jace not talk during our convos at lunch."
I really did miss Jace but there's nothing I can do about it now. Ever since the party I haven't really talked to anyone about what happened that night. Only Mia , Emily and Dylan knows. Mariana left for school a couple days after so I figured that it wouldn't make sense to tell her about it. Jacob and Mia are still at my parents house but I'm still not ready to talk to my parents yet. I would have talked to Jacob but I didn't want to drag him into my drama. We are both dealing with our parents situation anyways.
" Ugh finally ! Eeeeep I can't wait for the camp! So many exciting things are gonna happen !" Emily said jumping around
I just want everything to go well tomorrow. It's gonna go well right ?
