The day went by in a blur. Turns out Mr. Gordon didn't bother to come to class today, so Dylan and I just decided to stay in the library until it was our next session. I had math with Emily after, so she came to the Library and we went together. Math wasn't anything special. Just numbers and blah blah blah. I kind of fell asleep 30 minutes into it, so I didn't exactly learn much. Lunchtime wasn't anything special either. Dylan and Emily didn't show up because Em was helping Dylan to finish his chemistry project and Jace wasn't there either, surprisingly.  Turns out he had decided to ditch the rest of the day because he went to meet someone somewhere. I wonder who would be so important that he had to skip his other sessions? But, I don't think it's my place to question it.

With everyone else not being there, it was just Shawn and I left in the room. We talked and we found stuff in the room to play around with. Hanging with Shawn made me realise a couple of things like humbling really sweet. When we were talking, he told me about his little sisters who he had to take care of most of the time because his mom was always working extra hours at the hospital. I don't know why, but hearing how much he cares about his sisters made me smile a lot. I just thought it was really pure and it wasn't something I expected from him.

Since I didn't have anymore classes for the day, I decided that I was just going to go home. Honestly, I'm really glad that my school allows seniors to leave if they didn't have anymore classes left.  It gives me the opportunity to go home and catch up on some rest and school work. Since Jace had already left school and he was the one who took me school and I didn't have my car keys, I called an Uber.

While in the Uber, I checked my phone to see that it was just after 12.

Hmm I wonder if Mar was home.

I looked in my contacts and searched for her number. The phone rang two times and then it was sent to automatic voice mail.

That was weird.

I tried calling Jacob's number, but it did the same thing. This made me uncomfortable; Mariana and Jacob never declined my calls unless it was really important.

I hope they are okay...

I had told the driver to drop me two streets down from house instead so I could go to 7/11 for a cherry slushy and some snacks. I walked home from 7/11, enjoying my slushy along the way. When I was a few feet from my house, I noticed that the curtain down stairs had shifted. I thought it was just my mind playing tricks on me but the curtain shifted again and it seemed as if someone was peaking out.

Who the hell is in my house!

I quickly proceeded to the door with caution. I slowly opened the door and peeped my head in.

"Hello!," I yelled, throwing my school bag to the floor, but decided to keep my slushy in my hand.

What?....... I was thirsty.

I heard a loud thud coming from upstairs and I instantly knew where it was coming from.

The bitch is in my room!

I ran up the stairs and opened the door. Fuck being thirsty, I threw my drink into the intruder's face and I kicked him in his male parts. I grabbed him by his collar and threw him against the wall.

"Elle!" a female yelled behind me. It kinda sounded like-

"COOKIE!" I exclaimed, letting go of the intruder and running to hug her. "OH MY GOSH, YOU'RE HERE! AS IN, IN FLORIDA!"

" Yeah...ha ha and I assumed that you already saw Jacob," she said pointing to the male body behind me that was crying out in pain.

I turned around and ran to help him off the floor. I almost didn't recognize him with cherry deliciousness all over his face.
