Chapter 25: Tomorrow

" Mia are you ready ? Elle should be on her way to Emily' right now." Mariana said coming to the door.

" Hey Mar" I said in a cold tone.

Mariana looked between Mia and I with wide eyes.

" Surprise ?????" she said.

"Why is she here?" I asked.

" Because we thought it would be a good way to make you come home.... now I'm seeing that we didn't need to do that after all." she said rocking back an forth. " Speaking off why are you here ?"

" Got home sick? I wanted to talk to Jacob about all these things that were going on in my life ..."

" Come inside , James and mom aren't home yet."

Mia and I gave each other looks before heading up what used to be my room.

sigh I missed my yellow curtains.

"Jacob!!" I yelled.

he rushed into my room and stood at the door.

" Oh my gosh Elle you're home ! Oh my gosh you saw Mia ! oh shit...."

" oh shit indeed"

We turned around and looked at Mia on the bed.

" What ?" she said

" Uhhh - umm can you wait outside for a second... you know sibling stuff. "

" Oh Okay no problem," she said getting up.

We all waited until she left the room and we shut the door behind her.

" Okay whose the smart ass who thought it was a BRILLIANT idea to bring my ex here !!!!" I whisper yelled. ( just incase she was listening).

" Wellllll - uhhhh Mar why don't you answer that !"

" You see we wanted you to come home and we knew If I came alone you wouldn't have been so eager to come over  unless.... you heard that Mia was with me. Plus! She wanted to see you so I figured why not? Also you haven't texted me since I left so I was desperate."

" Don't you think you owe her an explanation? You guys were together for like what 2 whole years and you just packed up your stuff and left."

" Actually no Jacob I told her I was leaving a week before I actually did and she cheated on me !"

" Same difference?? Doesn't matter now , she's out there and you guys obviously need to talk soo Mariana and I will just leave you to it."

Jacob grabbed Mariana's hand and opened my room door. They went down stairs and told her that she could come up to my room.

" Uhhh hey .." she said standing by my door.

" Hey .. you can come in you know ... don't have to be so awkward" I said patting beside me in the bed.

She came in , closing the door behind her , and sat beside me.

" I miss you ..," she said.

" Don't ... Mia please not right now.."

" Then when Bella?"

" Eww don't Call me that .. call me Elle .."

" But I always call you Bella," she said looking at me.

" And your the reason why I hate being called by my full name now." I said bluntly.

"What's up with you ?" She asked.

"Nothing.." I said looking away from her.

" Come on Elle I know you remember? I know when something's bothering you so spill."

I looked over at her and saw that her full attention was on me.

" I don't know my boyfriend is making me not talk to my other guy friend that I've been getting waaaay too close with. My other guy friend has been saying some stuff about me not being his and whatever and I'm just confused ! What does he even mean by that ! Obviously you know James and my mom are back together and I'm just like wtf and I'm a whole mess right now. I know these are all minor but it's all happening at once!!" I said not realizing that I was yelling.

" Whoa Elle calm down," she said pulling me into a hug. " Everything is going to be alright , I promise."

" How are you so sure ?"

" Maybe you should try talking your friend without your boyfriend knowing." She said rubbing my back.

" I already did .. He wouldn't listen,"

" Well then make him listen."

I got up and started to walk towards the door.

" you're right I will make him do that."

" Wait ! Where are you going ?"

" In going to leave before mom and James gets home. I kinda made a promise to myself that I won't talk to them without someone really important to me being there."

" Really who ?"

" His name is Jace. He's the guy that lives across the street. He has blonde curly hair , wears glasses sometimes , tan skin blah blah blah"

" And what's your boyfriend'd name ?" She asked.

" His name is Shawn. He's black , resting bitch face but a nice smile"

" Hm interesting... well safe travel Elle"

I walked down stairs telling Mariana and Jacob goodbye before I go. Before I started to drive off I sent a text to Jace.

Shawn was suppose to pick me up from Emily's and drop me home after school tomorrow so I knew I had to make up a good excuse for him not to.

I drove out of the driveway and started to make my way home to Emily's. I really hope tomorrow goes well.
