Chapter 17 : Explanation

I was trembling. I could see it in his eyes that he was angry. I then slowly took my hood off and awkwardly replied...

Y/N : "Hey..."

Taeyong : "Why is she here!?"
He said angrily towards the others.

I was startled a little bit. The others also didn't exactly know how to replied, they just bowed in fear. I never saw Taeyong angry before so it was definitely a new experience.

Taeyong : "Are you guys out of your minds!? Speak! Now!"

I was scared. He was frightening me. I never saw him like this before. His eyes were red, he was in his vampire figure. All of them were actually from the moment we stepped in Vescana but he was so mad that it made it obvious. I calmed myself down and approached him. I held his hand and he glared at me.

Y/N : "Stop it. It's not their fault. I forced them to bring me here."

Taeyong : "Not a good reason. They shouldn't bring you here in any matter."

He then stared at Taeil and Johnny.

Taeyong : "Hyung, seriously? You know how dangerous it is for her!"

Johnny : "Sorry, Tae. She insisted. Anyways, Jae gave her a blood necklace so she was safe."

He then looked back at me and saw the necklace I was wearing.

Taeyong : "How by the name of Dracula did you find this!?"

Jaehyun : "I found it in mom's room last time we visited."

He then sighed. He looks pissed but much calmer than before.

Taeyong : "Ok, you guys can leave. Thanks for coming to save me and all. Sorry for lashing out but seriously though you should've thought about it more, bringing her here could kill her."

Dreamies : "Sorry, hyung!"

The others then left, leaving me and Taeyong alone in the room. He then started to pant. I guess he was exhausted after the rant. I approached him and held his back.

Y/N : "Hey, sit down."

He then sat back down on the bed as I stood in front of him. He looked at me worryingly and held both of my hands.

Taeyong : "Why did you need to come here, Y/N? It's not safe for you here."

Y/N : "I had to, 'kay? I can't just stand still knowing that my boyfriend is in danger."

Taeyong : "Yeah, you could. You could stand still and be safe."

Y/N : "I understand. But I don't regret coming here still."

Taeyong : "Stubborn..."

He rolled his eyes as I looked at him. He then loosened his grip and held his arm. I'm worried. His breath is kinda getting shorter by the minute and seeing him in this condition isn't good at all.

Y/N : "Hey, yong. Feed right now."

I said as I pulled up my sleeve and gave him my wrist.

Taeyong : "Later. We need to get you back right now."

He said as he stood up. I then held his arm quickly.

Y/N : "Now."

I glared at him.

Y/N : "I'm fine okay? I have this necklace that Jae gave me. Don't worry. Now, feed."

I have a cold face on the outside but I rarely get mad or act cold. But if I want to, I could be serious as well. He looked into my eyes and sighed.

Y/N : "Or do you want me to hurt myself again? I saw a knife there, I could slit my wrist."

Taeyong : "For sakes! No! Ok, ok"

I then helped him back to sit on the bed as he was limping and sat beside him. I gave him my wrist and he started to suck blood out of it. I patted his head with my other hand and said...

Y/N : "Suck as much as you want, okay? Even if I faint, I'll be fine. Cause if you're in pain then I'm hurt too."

I then felt a headache. I felt dizzy but it soon ended as Taeyong stopped feeding. I held my forehead and Yong grabbed the first aid kit. He wrapped my bitten wrist with bandages then kissed it.

Taeyong : "Thank you, sweety. I feel much better now."

He smiled at me

Y/N : "Hey, you didn't hold back right?"

He shook his head and I was relieved, also kinda surprised since I didn't faint. I guess I built a better endurance since it's been a while. I then held my wrist and Yong laid down on the bed. I then held my necklace and looked at it. It was his mother's, isn't it? I then laid beside him and looked at him.

Y/N : "Hey, yong."

Taeyong hummed in reply.

Y/N : "Can you explain something to me? What is this necklace exactly and what kind of vampires are you and your brothers?"

He turned his back to me and he seemed surprised a bit.

Y/N : "I asked Jae and he said you guys are the vampire princes. I wanna know more about it, can I?"

He nodded in response.

Taeyong : "Sure you can. But it might be long and complex so listen carefully 'kay?"

I nodded. He then started explaining...

Taeyong : "First of all, we are the vampire princes. What you're wearing right now is one of the signs for royalty in Vescana, a blood pendant. Each of us has one in different designs. Mine's a bit different though, it's a blood diamond which is more special than the usual one. Anyways, the blood pendant contains special powers. It protects but it could also destroy if it's not used right. That's why it's a royal possession. Other than the blood pendant, a vampire royalty has special powers that are added to the usual basic vampire powers..."
