Chapter 30 : Announcement

We waited for a while and chatted. Soon, the door opened. Taeyong, Yunho, and 2 staff members went in. Everybody including me bowed. Taeyong saw me and smiled, I smiled back. I was glad to see him alright. It was my first time to see Yunho. He's very charismatic. I could feel an aura around him, it's amazing. Yunho then smiled and said...

Yunho : "Annyeonghaseyo!"

NCT & Me : "Annyeonghaseyo."

Yunho : "Nice to see you guys."

He said looking at the boys. He then turned and looked at me.

Yunho : "You too, Y/N."

I smiled in response and he looked forward again.

Yunho : "Well, you all must be wondering why you're gathered here today. I've been told to give you the news and I've informed Taeyong about it as well. So, NCT 2018 will perform a special song for the SMTown that we'll be having. Taeyong & Mark had been working on it secretly and it's finally approved. I heard it and you both did a great job, Jaehyun did too with the guide. "

The boys cheered and joked around towards Mark, Taeyong, and Jaehyun. Yunho chuckled but then continued...

Yunho : "Y/N, you'll be the main choreographer for this project."

Y/N : "Really?"

He nodded. Everyone cheered.

Yunho : "You will work with 2 other choreographers who will help you with this project since making a choreo for 18 people is hard for a single person. But, I'm sure you'll do an amazing job. You're familiar with the boys as well right? So, I'm sure there would be no problem."

I nodded. The boys were all fired up and excited. Taeyong smiled at me. I was nervous but happy at the same time.

Yunho : "Well, that's it. Recording will start in 2 days and Mark can play the song right now for all of you to hear. Taeyong and Y/N, I have something to talk with you first."

I became nervous instantly. "What's going on? Why just the 2 of us? Did they find out?" A lot were going through my mind at that moment. I then walked closer to Taeyong and Yunho.

Yunho : "So both of you are given a special task. You both will be performing a dance performance as a duo throughout the tour. Of course, Taeyong needs to be the main focus but I hope both of you can shine together. A video will also be shot for it. The song is optional as long it fits with both of your styles. Well, that's everything. Good luck! Taeyong, Y/N, I'll let you both take care of the rest."

We both nodded. I was happy hearing the announcement, it was good news. Dancing together? I squealed secretly inside. Yunho then whispered something to Taeyong and they both chuckle. I'm curious about what he said...

Yunho : "I'll be going now!"

He waved goodbye.

NCT : "Annyeong higasipsio."

Yunho then left with the 2 staff members.

Once he left, Taeyong turned and looked at me. He smirked and said...

Taeyong : "I guess we'll be working together, huh?"

Y/N : "I guess we will. Heads up, I won't cut any slack cause you're my boyfriend."

Taeyong : "Don't want it any other way."

He said confidently. Then, we joined the boys and heard the song. It seriously was great, definitely a bop. I have a choreo in mind already. I looked to my side and Taeyong was looking at me while I made little moves for the choreo.

Y/N : "Yah! Kumanhae! ( Stop! )"

He just chuckled.

Soon it was Night Already...

All of NCT's eyes went red for a second but came back to normal not long after. Their vampire powers were probably reawaken.

Jaemin : "Ah...! I'm starving!"

Jaehyun : "Let's go home shall we? It's time we get something to eat"

Johnny : "You know, there was a box filled with premium blood bags that just got delivered this morning!"

Dreamies : "Yay!"

The hyungs chuckled at their dongsaeng's responses.

Taeil : "Let's go then!"

Doyoung : "Y/N, you coming? Taeyong hyung can cook for you."

Chenle : "We can have dinner together!"

Yuta : "Taeyong doesn't like premium blood anyways. He likes yours only."

My face flushed in red and I glanced at Taeyong who became embarrassed. He soon hit Yuta as payback.

Haechan : "Aish, can we just go home already? My stomach's grumbling!"

Mark : "Be patient, will you?"

Renjun : "So, are you coming, noona?"

Y/N : "Sorry guys not today. I'll be heading back to my apartment tonight. I need to get started on making a choreo for you guys."

Jungwoo : "You work too hard, noona."

Ten : "Ok, let's not waste anymore time, kaja!"

Taeil then made his usual weird move and opened a portal.

Y/N : "You guys don't like walking, do you?"

Jeno : "Why bother?"

I chuckled.

Taeyong : "You guys go ahead. I'll take care of Y/N."

He said as he ruffled my hair. Everyone nodded then said goodbye. They jumped one by one towards the portal and I waved them goodbye. All of them soon left, leaving me along with Taeyong. He then suddenly hugged me from behind and kissed my forehead.

Taeyong : "You worked hard today, babygirl."

I smiled. It's nice hearing someone appreciate your efforts. I'm so lucky, seriously. I looked upwards and kissed him.

Y/N : "You did too."

He smiled in response.

Taeyong : "Should we go now?"

I nodded. We then took our bags and interlocked our fingers. We walked outside of the room and went through the night.
