Chapter 24 : Kidnapped

My head's dizzy. I look around my surroundings. I'm stuck in a tight space which feels like jail. There was nobody and the place was dark. Blood was all around the walls and I started to shiver. I'm scared. I started banging on the jail gates and calling for help but there was no response. I was stuck there, alone. "Taeyong-ah, help me, jebal, someone, help." Tears then started to flow out of my eyes. "Help me, please..."

#Taeyong's POV

I was collecting more wood for the fire. It's day and the sun is shining brightly. It's sickening. My body felt weak already. But I was happy. She made me happy. But as I returned to the campsite, there was no one. Y/N was nowhere to be found. I started to scream her name.

Taeyong : "Y/N-ah! Sweety! Y/N!"

I then found a piece of paper on top of the log and saw the symbol. 

I immediately recognized it. "Father..." I sighed. I then focused all my power to teleport to Vescana. It was hard for me to do since it was day but I needed to save her.

I finally arrived and rushed inside the castle. I went inside the throne room and saw my dad. I turned to my vampire form and confronted him.

Taeyong : "Where is she!?"

He smirked.

Father : "Calm down, my son. She's fine. She's just enjoying her time in the dungeon."

Taeyong : "You said you won't hurt her!"

Father : "I didn't, yet. Also, you didn't really do what you promised, did you? I precisely said leave the girl and take the throne. It's as simple as that. But you just have to hear your precious little heart, don't you?"

Taeyong : "Why do I have to take the throne!? Taeil and Johnny hyung are both older than me, I'm sure they're capable as well."

Father : "You're the one chosen by Dracula himself."

Taeyong : "Why am I chosen? Why!?"

Father : "You'll know when it's the right time."

Taeyong : "Also, why can't I date her? I love her! Jaehyun has a human girlfriend as well and you just left him be, why is it so unfair for me!?"

Father : "It's for the best, trust me."

Taeyong : "After what you did to mom, you already broke my trust in you."

Father : "Don't bring your mother into this!"
Taeyong : "Whatever, I'll take her and leave now, good day father."

Father : "Guards!"

The doors were closed shut and locked. Two guards grabbed the both of my hands and gave me handcuffs, special ones that retain my powers.

Taeyong : "Let me go!"

Father : "You little scumbag, I raised you and this is how you repay me?"

His hands then pierced through my chest and grabbed my heart out. I felt empty immediately. He looked at my heart and smirked. I just glared at him. He then approached me and smiled. It was a sickening one.

Father : "Let's make you suffer for a bit, so you realize what your mistakes were."

He then looked at 1 guard at the door and said...

Father : "Fetch the girl."

Taeyong : "What are you going to do to her?"

Father : "You'll see."

#Your POV

I woke up. I remembered that I cried myself to sleep. This place just gives me the chills. Soon, I heard footsteps.

Y/N : "Excuse me?"

A guard walked closer and opened up the gate. I noticed his fangs which means he's a vampire.

Guard : "Let's go."

Y/N : "Where am I?"

Guard : "The castle of Vescana"

Y/N : "Vescana!?"

Vescana? Why am I here? Lee Taeyong, where are you!?

Y/N : "Where are you taking me?"

Guard : "The king has requested your presence."

The king? That means... Taeyong's dad!? The vampire king!? Aish, this is too much for me! We then went inside a room which I assume is the throne room. The king was sitting on the throne while Taeyong was beside him with handcuffs on. He looked at me in worry and I mouthed out that I was fine. The guard then left me in the middle of the throne room.

King : "Nice to finally meet you, Y/N-ssi."

He smiled. I have a bad feeling about this.

Y/N : "Ah, the honor is mine."

I bowed.

Y/N : "Your majesty."

I glanced at Taeyong while I said that and he looked pissed. I wonder why.

King : "I heard you got friendly with my son, Taeyong here."

Y/N : "Ah, well..."

King : "I wasn't a question. I already know everything about you. I have many sources, you know? You must love him a lot to accept him back after he left you with no reason. But do you know? He actually had a reason. He came here to take the throne, to replace me as Dracula chose him and you? You're an obstacle that he must overcome to get through it. But recently, he hasn't been fighting that obstacle but loving it instead. So..."

Black smoke started to appear from his hand and a heart was placed.

King : "I'll be asking you a favor here, Y/N-ssi. Leave and don't mess with Taeyong ever again. It's what's best for him."

I looked at him in shock.

Taeyong : "What!? Father! You're talking nonsense!"

King : "How about it, Y/N-ssi? If you don't want to then I'll make him suffer instead as punishment for his behaviors. I'll give you an example."

He squeezed the heart slowly and Taeyong started to scream in pain.

Taeyong : "Agghhhh!"

I was surprised. I was worried about him but I didn't know what to do. What should I do?

Well, I'm back! Thank you so much for waiting patiently. School has been hectic with all the tasks and tests. Also, it will be hard for me to publish as frequent as I did before since I'll be really busy but I'll try to make time to publish.
