Chapter 31 : Starry Night

As we walked through the night, I saw a playground.

Y/N : "Hey, wanna stop there for a minute?"

He smiled and nodded. I pulled him and sat on one of the swings and so did he. I then looked up and saw the beautiful night sky filled with shining stars.

Y/N : "This reminds me of the past."

Taeyong : "It sure does, doesn't it?"

Y/N : "We were happy those times huh? Till everything just went downhill for us."

My heart ached recalling this past few years.

Y/N : "Things were tough without you. I felt lonely. The first year without you was the worst. There wasn't a night that I didn't cry thinking about you. Seeing you made it tougher."

Tears dripped from my eyes.

Y/N : "The 2nd year, I started to say to myself that it's okay. I can do this. It's for Taeyong. Let's live life without him for him. But still, I wasn't the same. I don't know about you, but you're a part of me and when a part of you is missing, you somehow feel empty inside. That's what I felt."

I smiled while the tears kept flowing.

Y/N : "You don't know how happy I was when you saved me that night. I ran away since I thought you might get killed if you talked to me but I was glad you were there."

I looked at him and I could see that he felt sorry for me.

Y/N : "Don't feel sorry. I was the one who chose this. Never thought, I'd be this miserable about it though. But it wasn't that bad. My family got closer because of it."

He stood up and took out a hand. Once I grabbed it, he pulled and hugged me.

Taeyong : "Baby, you're a part of me as well. All of me actually. It pains me to hear this. I'm terribly sorry to make you put up with all of this. Thank you for being strong this few years. I love you so much."

I smiled and chuckled. I wiped my tears away.

Y/N : "Since when are you so cheesy?"

Taeyong : "Yah!"

I chuckled. I put my arms around his neck and kissed him. He looked into my eyes with the most loving eyes.

Y/N : "Oppa, I love you more."

He smiled and pulled me for another kiss. It was a beautiful starry night indeed.

Not long after, we continued walking to my apartment. In front of the door, I realized that it's the first time Taeyong is seeing my apartment and it's not in a good shape right now. I glanced at him and he looked back at me.

Y/N : "Hey, it's kinda messy inside so deal with it okay? I haven't had the time to clean up yet."

Taeyong : "It's fine."

Y/N : "I know you can't stand a mess, Yong. You're the cleanest person I know."

Taeyong : "Hahaha it's seriously fine. If I can't stand it then I guess I'll clean it for you."

Y/N : "Up to you, I just want you to feel comfortable."

I then opened the door and Taeyong looked around. He grabbed the stuff that was lying on the floor and organized it.

Y/N : "I'm sorry, baby."

Taeyong : "It's fine. This is such a nice place by the way."

Y/N : "Thank you. Anyways, I'll take a shower right now since I reek after practicing, I'll be back in a sec."

Taeyong : "It's fine, don't rush. I'll cook for you while you do."

Y/N : "Thanks hun. I'll get some blood for you too."

I quickly pecked him and went to my room.

#Taeyong's POV

As we walked back to Y/N's apartment, I felt someone was watching us. I looked around but no one was there.

Y/N : "What's wrong?"

I smiled and replied.

Taeyong : "Nothing, the sky is so pretty tonight."

Y/N : "I know right."

We continued to walk but my guard was now up. We soon arrived and I was relieved. I was curious about who was watching us though. Anyways, Y/N went for a shower and I wanted to cook for her. I looked at the ingredients she had and decided to cook spaghetti bolognaise for her.

If you're wondering how I cook so well despite being a vampire, it's because vampires can taste food. We can't digest food but we can taste it. It's not enjoyable and kinda bland but we could tell the flavors apart. I trained a lot so I know which combination of flavors are considered good by humans.

Soon, the spaghetti was done and Y/N came out of her room while drying her wet hair with the towel.

Y/N : "It smells amazing, baby."

Taeyong : "Come, it's already done."

Y/N : "Oh wait, let me get the blood bag first."

She hurriedly went back to her room and grabbed the blood bag. She opened a drawer, took out a straw and put it in the blood bag.

Y/N : "Here you go, fresh blood for you."

She gave it to me with a smile. I smiled back at her.

Taeyong : "And some spaghetti bolognaise for you, hope you like it."

Y/N : "You too."

We then had dinner and chatted. It was fun. I guess both of us were longing this. Suddenly, the window shattered and a couple of men went in or should I say vampires jumped in. I quickly pulled Y/N behind my back and turned vampire. I glared at them. I saw a mark on their wrist...
