Chapter 9 : Dissapointed

He didn't say anything after he heard it. He just stared at me deeply directly at my eyes as if he was looking at my soul. He then smiled.

Taeyong : "Thanks."

I was startled with his short answer. He then stood up heading to the door and I grabbed his arm.

Y/N : "That's it?"

He nodded innocently. I sighed.

Y/N : "Ok, I... I just wanted you to know. You stay here. I'll leave. You better rest now.

I said with a saddened tone. It was disappointing honestly. But I didn't expect much either. We're different creatures anyways. He's a vampire and I'm just a mere human. What can I do? I then left and walked downstairs. I went out of the mansion cause I just really need fresh air right now. It was dark since it's night but weirdly, it was peaceful but suddenly I saw a presence...

#Taeyong's POV

She confessed. I didn't know what to do nor say. I just stared at her, seeing if her feelings were true and I sensed it. That she actually likes me. But I thought about it again. We're totally different species and if I told her about these scars, would she understand? Would she still stay with me? So I gave a neutral response without accepting or declining but she looked kinda disappointed and I understand her in a way. She then left. I messed up my hair and laid on my bed. "What am I doing? My feelings are unclear..." I said to myself. Suddenly, I felt an unfamiliar presence near me. I dashed downstairs and saw Y/N being held by a vampire. He was about to bite Y/N's neck but then I screamed.

Taeyong : "Yah! That's my prey!"

He looked at me and gasped. I think he recognizes me. He then flee without even thinking twice. I looked at Y/N. She didn't seem relieved or anything. She was sad. She then walked passed me, going inside while saying...

Y/N : "Thanks."

I looked at her worried. Did I do something wrong? "I'm just still unclear with my own feelings, Y/N-ah. Don't avoid me, please."

#Your POV

The vampire suddenly held me from behind. I couldn't move. His face got closer to my neck but then I heard a voice.

Taeyong : "Yah! That's my prey!"

Hearing those words, I was pretty sad. Expected, I'm just a prey to him, aren't I? I then thanked him and went back in. I just didn't know how to feel that time.

Next Day...

I woke up early today cause for some reason, I didn't want to see Taeyong. Yesterday night was still upsetting. I don't know which one is more upsetting, the fact that Minhyuk's back or that Taeyong just looks at me as prey and nothing more. I then went to school without telling him. Throughout school, I avoided him. My feelings are messed up right now. I don't know what to say when I see him.

While I was walking through the hallway, I heard a voice...

?? : "Y/N-ah!"

I was expecting it was Taeyong but as I looked back, I was furious. "Minhyuk, what is he doing here?"

Y/N : "Why are you here, Minhyuk?"

Minhyuk : "I asked my dad to go to your university, isn't it fun?"

He smiled. I was disgusted instead.

Y/N : "Leave. I don't want to see you."

I then started walking away but he held my arm.

Minhyuk : "Y/N-ah, you can't leave me like that."

Y/N : "Why can't I?"

Minhyuk : "Cause you're mine."

Y/N : "What? Are you crazy? Let me go!"

Minhyuk : "Never, not again."

Y/N : "Let me go! Minhyuk!"

Minhyuk : "Keep trying, baby."

I struggled to let go of his grip. Then I felt another grip on my arm and pulled it to it's direction.

Taeyong : "How dare you touch her? She's mine."

I looked at him. His face was pissed. He was dead serious as if he would go all vampire anytime soon.
