Chapter 37 : Awake

I rushed to the medical room soon after I arrived at the mansion. When I arrived, the brothers were surrounding the bed, they all looked at me as they heard me entering the room. A voice spoke and I immediately knew who it was.

Taeyong : "Y/N?"

I rushed myself to him and hugged him tight. Tears dripped while Taeyong caressed my back. The brothers soon went out of the room one by one.

Taeyong : "Sweetheart, I'm okay."

He whispered to my ear attentively. I finally calmed myself down and sat beside him.

Y/N : "How is it? Does it still hurt?"

Taeyong : "It's bearable, hyung gave me a few medications just now so I should be fine."

Y/N : "Have you eaten?"

Taeyong : "I drank animal's blood just now. I'm okay."

Y/N : "No, that's not enough for you. Here you go."

I gave him my wrist. He gave me an unsure loo but I nodded at him in response. He then opened his mouth, his fangs dug in my wrist as he sucked blood. I caressed his hair while he ate and looked at his scars. He soon finished, wiped his mouth, and quickly grabbed a cloth nearby and put pressure on my wrist.

Y/N : "Well, that's gonna leave a scar."

I chuckled. He kissed my cheek and smiled.

Taeyong : "Thank you, dear."

I smiled back.

Y/N : "So what happened, yong?"

Taeyong told everything about the fight that happened meanwhile I start to worry about what will happen from now on.

Taeyong : "Well for now, we have to construct a plan to defeat OPRØR quickly because I'm sure as of now, OPRØR has conquered Vescana, so we need to fight back really soon."

I nodded. I then expressed my thought that I told the foreign swaggers about.

Y/N : "Yong-ah, turn me vampire."

He was shocked beyond belief.

Taeyong : "Are you crazy, Y/N!? This is not Twilight or Vampire Diaries, this is real!"

Y/N : "I know this is real, but I just can't stand leaving you to fight and staying home without doing anything. So, please."

Taeyong : "No. That's my answer. This life isn't for you. No."

I was devastated. I've never felt normal in my entire life and I finally felt alive when I'm with Taeyong. Throughout the years, I've been with him, I finally felt that I belong, that I'm somebody in this world. My mind was filled with questions.

Y/N : "Why!? Why isn't this life for me? Even if this whole war didn't happen, I would ask to be turned someday. So tell me, why?"

Taeyong : "This is not for you, Y/N. You have a whole life as a human. You can do normal things, eat human food, not be in hiding. The freedom you have right now, you won't get it if you change. Please just listen to me and stay like this. It would be much safer as well. It will leave a huge relief in my heart."

Y/N : "I don't want to do normal things, yong-ah. I wanna fight beside you."

Taeyong : "Sorry, my answer is still no, I can't and won't change you. I won't even if you break up with me."

I was surprised. Break up? I simply can't live without him and he just said it as if I would. My eyes started to water.

Y/N : "How can you say that? I won't ever do that, not again. Ok, ok, I'll follow your decision. Just don't bring that up again please."

He hugged me tight as I cried on his chest.

Taeyong : "Mianhae, Y/N-ah. I'll never say that again okay?"

Y/N : "Just don't leave me ever again, yong. I can't stand it."

He put his hands on my cheeks and faced me towards him. He wiped my tears away and gave me a kiss.

Taeyong : "Never."

He smiled brightly. He kissed me again and I smiled. I pulled away and chuckled.

Y/N : "Ok, wait a sec, I was going to give this to you yesterday but a lot of things happened so here."

I grabbed it from my pocket and gave it to Taeyong. It was a leather bracelet.

Y/N : "I saw it at the shop and it caught my eye. I carved "Siempre Juntos" on it as well. Now, you have my heart and I have yours."

He wore it immediately and hugged me.

Taeyong : "Te amo mi amor."

Y/N : "I love you too, love."
