Chapter 17.5 : Explanation [Vampire]

Let's start with...

1. What actually is a vampire?

A corpse supposed, in European folklore, to leave its grave at night to drink the blood of the living by biting their necks with long pointed canine teeth.a person who preys ruthlessly on others.

Of course, in this fanfic, the meaning of vampire itself isn't like the upper part as I modified it. So, the meaning of vampire in this fanfic is...

Vampire : A species that sucks blood for a living. It is alive not a corpse. It's the same as humans except their powers and what they feed. So, they could die as well but because of their powers, they usually live a long life

2. What are the basic powers / abilities that a vampire possesses?

So, a regular vampire possesses :

¤ Regenerative Healing ( The ability to heal fast )

¤ Supernatural Agility, Durability, Endurance, Senses, Speed, and Strength

¤ Night Vision

¤ High Jump

3. About the vampire princes ( or basically NCT )

So yeah, NCT are royalty. Each royal has their own special power besides the regular vampire powers. The birth year decides what element you possess. Even though the elements are the same, they'll mostly have different abilities.

Taeil : Energy
Magic ; Healer ; Dynamokinesis ( manipulate existing energy ) ; Sphere Manipulation ( able to manipulate an energetic force field )

Johnny : Fire
Can change things with his flames; Pyrokinesis ( create, control, and manipulate fire )

Yuta : Fire
Fire Breath, Inflammation ( able to burn things ); Pyroportation ( able to teleport / move through fire )

Kun : Wind
Aerokinesis ( able to manipulate the air, wind, and gas ); Flight

Doyoung : Wind
Air Mimicry ( transform into air ); Lung Adaptation ( able to breathe anywhere )

Ten : Wind
Create blasts of wind / blasts of air and whirlwind

Jaehyun : Water
Hydrokinesis ( manipulate and control water ); able to blast water balls & create a whirlpool

Winwin : Water
Able to talk to underwater creatures; Aquatic Adaptation ( could adapt in water )

Jungwoo : Nature
Could control the plants, create vines, able to take energy from a plant

Lucas : Earth
Rock shield; could make an earthquake

Mark : Earth
able to manipulate and control rocks / stones / earth

Renjun : Electricity
Technology control; Electrical absorption which turns into energy

Jeno : Electricity
Light bolts; Electroportation ( able to teleport with electricity )

Haechan : Electricity
Shoots electric balls; control lightning

Jaemin : Electricity
summon a lightning storm; electric blast

Chenle : Light
Shoots lasers, light balls ; could control any type of light

Jisung : Ice
Freeze breath ; Ice beams ; Cyrokinesis ( control ice / snow )

For Taeyong, well he's a little bit special. His element is Fire but he has other abilities that aren't his element but his strongest is still Fire

Taeyong : Fire
Telekinesis, fire breath, flame throwers, fire balls, force field, blades ( generate blades / swords ), poison, mind reading, teleportation, light beams, golden blast

4. The Blood Pendant

Every royal is given a blood pendant in the form of a necklace. It is the sign of royalty and it contains special powers which are a secret. It could protect and destroy. It's a really sacred thing.

A top grade of the blood pendant is the blood diamond. It's a high class version of the blood pendant and the most sacred possession. It contains the most power so if in wrong hands, it could be a very dangerous weapon. It is only given to the king / his heir, which in this fanfic is Taeyong.

If a blood necklace is given to a human, it doesn't do much but protects the human & makes him / her unnoticeable from regular vampires as if him / her is actually a vampire. Royalty on the other hand still know they're humans since they also wear a blood necklace and are able to tell from their scent.
