Chapter 29 : Catching Up

I woke up surrounded by a pair of arms. We must've fallen asleep together last night. I seriously never thought I would meet him again. He was sleeping so soundly. I moved his arms around me carefully and looked at the clock. It's almost time for work so I grabbed my things. I smiled at him and brushed his hair a little, then I went out of the room. Outside, the dreamies were standing there. I quickly made a quiet sign and whispered to them...

Y/N : "Your hyung is sleeping so don't bother him, okay? When he wakes up, tell him that I went to work."

Jeno : "Okay, noona."

Jisung : "It's nice seeing you come here again, noona."

Jaemin : "Hyung has been a mess without you."

Renjun : "He managed somehow."

I smiled. It must've been hard for him too. I then waved goodbye to them and left the mansion. I took a cab and went back to my apartment.

You must be wondering why I'm living in an apartment right now? Well, I moved out from my house after I started making money. I bought this penthouse with my own money and a little help from my brother. My parents also pitched in for the furniture and the design of my apartment. It was the first time they actually cared for me. They said that they are terribly sorry for their ignorance towards me. My brother explained that they saw me being a mess so they felt guilty that they couldn't give me much attention.

Now, they support what I do and are proud of what I achieved. They also call / visit from time to time, especially mom. She calls me often and asks how I'm doing and stuff. You can say she changed her actions towards me completely. All of this was because of Taeyong. Because of him, my family was able to be closer even without Taeyong himself being here. I can't wait to tell him about this. He would probably be ecstatic knowing that my family finally reunited. Maybe this whole 3 years were for the better.

Anyways, I went inside my penthouse, put down my bag, and headed to the shower. I thought about yesterday as the warm water poured down. After I was done, I dressed up and grabbed my dance bag. Before I went out of my room, I remembered something. I quickly went to one of the side tables beside my bed and unlocked the top drawer. I opened it and took out a book.

It was a photo album. It's filled with all my memories with Taeyong. I collected them all and put them in here. Then, I put the album inside the drawer and locked it to move on but it was time to open it back up. I skimmed through the album till I reached the last page. It contained only 1 photo but probably the most precious one for me. The picture of me and him with the writing "Siempre Juntos". I caressed the photo and smiled. I thought about our memories together as they flash backed to my mind. I then closed the album, put it back inside the drawer, and checked the time. I was almost late so I dashed outside of the apartment and went to SM Ent.

Today, I'll be working with one of the best girl groups of the new generation, Red Velvet! I'll be working on their new song which sounds amazing by the way. The beats were addictive so I made the choreo quite quickly. After a few hours, we were able to finish the whole choreo.

Y/N : "Ok, let's start from the top again and after that, we're finished for the day. Hwaiting!"

Red Velvet : "Hwaiting!"

They danced the whole choreo as I examined them. The song then finished and the girls immediately lay on the floor, exhausted.

Y/N : "Great job! We're done for today. I'll see you guys tomorrow to perfect this and make formations."

Red Velvet : "Thank you for your hard work."

I bowed at them as well.

A knock then was heard on the door. Irene stood up and opened it. A staff member was there so he talked to Irene and she soon called me.

Irene : "Y/N, someone's calling for you."

Y/N : "Ne, eonni."

I went there and met the staff.

Staff : "Are you done with your work here, miss?"

Y/N : "Yeah, we just finished, anything wrong?"

Staff : "Well, I was ordered to bring you somewhere for some news so if you can just follow me, that would be delightful."

Y/N : "Ok, sure. Let me just grab my bag."

I then grabbed my bag and waved goodbye to the girls. I followed the staff until we reached another practice room.

Staff : "Just right in here, miss."

He opened the door and there I saw familiar faces who smiled at me.

NCT : "Y/N! Noona!"

I was surprised seeing all of them. I guess they just finished practice since everyone was sweating all over. I examined the room and looked at the members one by one. Taeyong wasn't there with them.

Y/N : "Hey, where's Yong?"

Haechan : "You mean your 'lovely boyfriend'?"

I glared at him as Mark smacked his head. Everyone cracked up and I sighed.

Jungwoo : "He was called by Yunho sunbae for something. We don't really know."

Y/N : "So what are we doing here?"

Lucas : "We don't know. We just finished practice and suddenly you came in like bam!"

Jaehyun : "Let's just wait and see."

I nodded. I was curious yet nervous at the same time. I wonder what we're going to do...
