Chapter 26 : Without You

Next Day...

I couldn't go to school. I wanted to be alone for a moment. I need to get used to this, being alone. I held the necklace tight as I lay on my bed. "Taeyong-ah, I miss you. Without you, I'm nobody. Without you, I'm back at zero. Without you, I'm useless. I need you."

A Week Later...

I started going to university again. I try to focus on the lectures but I'm just not myself anymore. I didn't see Taeyong this week as well. "Taeyong-ah, where are you? Are you okay?"

A Month Later...

I got used to my daily life without Taeyong. It's less painful now. My friends helped me a lot through the rough days. Jaehyun is also giving me updates about how Taeyong is doing and I also sometimes entrust a blood bag to him so he could give it to Taeyong. I just wanted him to be well.

Anyways, I went to university today for my lectures as usual. In front of the gates, I saw the whole NCT, including Taeyong. He was smiling brightly and chatting with his brothers. It was a great sight to look at. Suddenly, my heart started to ache and I rushed inside the building. "Ah... I thought I was already getting used without your presence but it's still aching."

1 Year Later...

I'm now a sophomore. The 95 liner of NCT has graduated already. I watched as Taeyong, Johnny, and Yuta wore robes and received their diploma, Jaehyun invited me. Taeyong was the one representing his year and made a speech. He looked great, amazing as ever. I was able to survive this last year. We didn't ignore each other completely. He sometimes gave me smiles and I could feel him comforting me through the necklace. I kept strong this last year. I'm glad that I'm able to do it. I'm also very grateful towards my friends and especially my brother. They've been there with me when I'm down.

This year, I'm also going to start being a backup dancer for YG Entertainment. I got recruited when I auditioned at the end of last year. I think it'll be a great job. It'll distract me well also. While Jaehyun said that Taeyong will focus more on his duties and NCT now. I know he'll do great. Jae also said that his coronation is coming soon. He deserved it. It's his place to begin with. I'll be happy as long as he's happy, right?

3 Years Later...

I've graduated from university already. I've also made a name for myself in the dancing world. I'm now a famous choreographer for idols. I usually choreograph for the Big 3. I've worked with Red Velvet, Blackpink, f(x), EXO, Got7, Winner, BTS, Pristin, SF9, and many more. My schedule became tight. It's hard to find time to relax and hangout with my friends.

BTW talking about my friends, Seolhyun is now working as a business woman and owns a bunch of restaurants and cafes. Jaehyun is focusing on NCT and they just finished with their comeback. Hyeorin is working as a singer and is doing awesome. She won the rookie of the year award last year. Also, Seolhyun and Jaehyun broke up last year. They said it's because of private issues so they decided to end it. It was kinda disappointing since I wanted them to last long unlike me and Taeyong but they're still friends till now.

I haven't seen Taeyong for the whole year. I sometimes wonder what he's doing but I'm sure he's fine. I haven't started to date again even though it's been a while. Maybe I just can't get over him just yet.

Anyways, I'm walking home right now from SM Entertainment after teaching a new choreography for Girls Generation. It's a real honor to work with Legends. I didn't need to do anything much, they basically got everything down. Anyways, the night was quite beautiful tonight. I looked at the stars and it reminded me of when I stargazed with Taeyong. I missed those times...

Suddenly, I felt a weird vibe around me and a couple of men started to surround me. They were handsome but there's evil aura around them.

Y/N : "What do you want? Get away from me!"

They just went closer and closer and then I saw their fangs. Vampires. Their eyes went red and I immediately knew what they meant. They're gonna strike. I closed my eyes and held my necklace tight. "Taeyong-ah, help me."

Suddenly, I heard a person growling and I saw a familiar back ahead of me. He started to fight the vampires one by one. Fire was everywhere. Soon, the vampires fleed and the fire went out. I kept looking at the person's back. The person then turned around and said...

Taeyong : "Hey, sweety."

Tears fell from my eyes.

Hey guys! Hehe I'm finally back after almost a month. So sorry for that. Let me state my reasons :

1. So if you guys know, Indonesia was the home for ASIAN Games from 18th of August to 2nd of September. So I've been watching the games on TV and supporting Indonesian athletes. I just wanna say that I'm very grateful that we got 31 gold medals, 24 silver, and 43 bronze. We came in 4th place and I think that's a big achievement so I'm very proud of my country right now!

2. I've been rethinking about the story line again

3. I've been busy with school assignments which makes me really tired

Anyways, those are my reasons. I'm very sorry that you guys have to wait that long but I'll try my best after this to update for you guys.
