Chapter 28- Helpless

Allison

I was helpless habang pinapanood ko ang mga kaibigan ko.

"Hindi ko maintindihan... Ano ba ang nangyayari?" Napipikon na tanong ni Saint. Naluluha akong napapangiti habang pinapanood ko siya. Malamang magagalit siya sa akin pero hindi ako makakahingi ng tawad sa kanya.
"Nakita mo ang multo ng lola ko di ba? Nakakausap ni Allie ang mga multo pero kailangan niya si Carlos para hindi siya makuha ng mga ito. Si Carlos ang kalahati ni Allie. Siya ang soulmate niya. Siya ang talisman niya." Umiiyak na paliwanag ni Beth.

Carlos is looking at my pale face while everybody is anxious about me.

"Akala ko okay na ang lahat?" Napatingin si Beth kay Carlos.
Hindi siya kumikibo. Nakikita kong nahihirapan siya pero hindi siya nagsasalita. Tumalim ang tingin ni Saint kay Carlos.
"Well, he was just kissing another woman when we came to their house. And none of your friends are willing to stop him for making Allison a fool." Galit na sagot ni Saint.
My friends looked guilty of what he said.
"What do I need to do, Beth? You said I can save her." Carlos eyes are full of regret.
Umiling si Beth. "Hindi ko alam. Hindi nakaligtas ang mama ni Allie dati. Wala si lola para makausap ko. Hindi ako nakakakausap ng multo ng wala si Allie. Hindi ko alam, Carlos."

"You're a fucking useless." Saint growled at Carlos.
"Tama na Saint. Hindi nakakatulong ang mga panunumbat mo." Khal as ever stand up for her friends.
"Kailangan nating ilabas si Allie sa hospital. Mas madaming kaluluwa dito." Beth suggested.
"Sa bahay namin tutuloy si Allie." Carlos decided.
"Hindi." Sagot ni Saint.

Para akong nanonood ng movie... Pero ang hirap kasi nakikita ko ang sarili ko na unti-unting namamatay.

"We have a facility at the Country Club. My sister is a doctor and I will never allow you anymore to take Allison away from me again. You have to kill me first." Carlos stand on his ground.
"Let's move. Love, you need to talk to her doctor. I will call Trevor to arrange an ambulance." Gab lead my friends to their direction. "Beth, samahan mo si Cailee. Kailangan ka nya as Allie's only relative. Khal, tumawag ka sa mansion. Tell Mommy, what is going on. And Saint, please let us help. Allison is part of our family. Hindi kami ang kaaway dito."

Isa-isang nagsikilos ang mga kaibigan ko. They move fast and they are doing what they can to save me. I need to help them. I need to find a way.

Tumayo ako at naglakad sa gilid ng salamin na pader na naghahati sa akin at sa mundo ko. Naglakad ako at sinundan ako ng mga anino. Naglalakad ako pero parang hindi ako umaalis sa kinakatayuan ko.
I saw what is happening on the other side...It's playing in front of me.

Nakita ko kung paano nakipagtalo si Cailee para mailabas ako. Pumirma si Beth ng waiver para mailabas ako. Dumating ang kapatid ni Zoey para maisakay ako sa ambulance... Lahat ng nangyayari, nakikita ko. Carlos is struggling with his emotions. He was like a robot... Following orders because it's easy for him.
I wonder where Camilla is.

This is not his fault. It's mine. I throw his ring, I let the pain consumes me. I let them down. And now, I am in a place where I can't find my way back.

Dinala ng mga kaibigan ko ang katawan ko sa bahay nila Carlos. On a spare room, there's a medical set up ready for me.

Trevor and Carlos transfer me to bed and Cailee put a dextrose on my vein. An oxygen tube was put on my nose. Lahat ginagawa nila just to keep my body alive.

I need to find a way... My tears are like waterfalls while looking at them.

"Cailee... her blood pressure is dropping...." Trevor said.
Carlos was standing at the foot of the bed. He's pale... so pale. Saint is pacing up and down at the end of the room.

Nagmamadaling inadjust ni Cailee ang IV and she injected a liquid medicine on it.

"Monitor her." Sabi niya kay Trevor.

Then more help came, including Gab's mom and Rome's dad.
God helps us... I want to live with them. I want to live.
