Being able to feel my heart beat inside of my chest, in a tact that was smooth and missed, I looked at my hands and noticed how my skin earned more colour than just pale, almost blue.
It's colour made me feel so, humane. A wide smile plastered on my face as I traced my fingers along my left wrist as I admired the whole feeling of being able to breathe again.
It made me happy, feel like others. Feel like the old me. But one thing left me absentminded. One thing made me want to cry, to just remember, the thing that this all might just be a dream.
That feeling made me feel so sad. I had missed this. But I really didn't remember why I was here again. Why I was alive again. How I was alive again. When I was alive again.
With these kinds of thoughts, I had unknowingly started to walk towards the direction where the woman voice was. The scenery in front of me lightening up my entire body and the voice left flying butterflies in my belly.
The smile didn't disappear, nor did the sad thoughts. But I kept walking. Reaching further and further. Growing more desperate. Urging to see and talk to the owner of the voice.
I just felt so happy. That was so weird to feel. I hadn't felt it in years. And now I suddenly did. Suddenly, I could inhale and exhale. Suddenly, I could feel my heartbeats. Suddenly, feelings hit me stronger. Suddenly, I was a human.
My thoughts stopped interrupting and make me sway into other worlds as I met a back of a woman I assumed was the owner of the voice.
She was quite tall, was a little skinny but really healthy looking from behind, her black and thick long hair swayed over her shoulders as she moved her head as she kept singing that familiar song with her unrealistically familiar voice.
My smile got even wider as my arms reached out to her shoulders as I turned her around.
And suddenly everything turned into some kind of slow motion. Her hair swayed over her left shoulder as she cutely turned her hips and smiled so prettily, her eyes fading away and her overlip widening, her white teeth glistening in the sunlight.
That's when I also realised the pretty pastel purple dress she was wearing. It looked so good on her. My fingers tightened around her shoulders as I let out a small chuckle, now confirming that I knew who she was.
Her smiled a little, her eyes now back and that's when I saw how her features looked similar to mine.
"m-mom?"
She was my mom. My young mom. My birth giver. My biological mom. My dead mom.
"yes, seokjin-ah"
and my tears started to roll down my cheeks as I pulled her into a tight embrace, my nose against her neck, immediately recognising her sweet scent, letting out a small gasp as I pushed my nose deeper into her neck.
Her short arms wrapped around me as she soothingly whispered,
"my son. my beautiful son~"
I just kept quiet, happy with having her this close to me again, to be with her, to hear her beautiful voice, to see her beauty.
But I was also very scared. Even more scared than I was from the begging. If this all was a dream. If I soon woke up again. If I was dead again. Locked in again.
Mom pulled away as her smile disappeared and her gaze sent gulps down my throat, feeling the goosebumps building.
A sudden wind flashed by as the garden behind mom turned darker, her arms tightening around me, me trying to break out of her grasp but failing.
Two words were written out on the now black scenery,
[MAGIC SHOP]
as I felt my heart beat faster inside my chest, blood rushing up to my face as I closed my eyes multiple times, not understanding anything at all.
but what left me traumatised was the sudden change in my mother's voice as she said,
"dear no one, let's play?"
