I can't get this out of my head, so I'm writing it here :) It's an excerpt from one of my books (I don't know which one yet lol)
(Carolyn pov)
I heard Legolas cry out to me, and I turned and saw him on the top of the cliff. He was serve rely outnumbered, and suddenly, he was the only thing I saw. Blindly, I fought through the masses of orcs blocking my path. Every move, every step was automatic. The only thing that mattered was reaching Legolas.
"I'll be there" I mumbled to myself, repeating it as I fought. A streak of blood rolled down my face, but I was too busy to care. I finally reached the top of the cliff...
Just in time to see Legolas fall over the edge.
