Duel

The day after her first mission, Evie was sitting at home. Her sock covered feet were propped up on the coffee table in the living room as she watched cartoons on her TV. She sipped her coffee out of her Zelda coffee mug as Alice did her favorite activity next to her, sleeping, which she is very good at.

Evie then became very agitated at a knock at the door, which in turn interrupted her coffee and Gravity Falls. She got up with a huff, "Who is it?" She asked loudly from the couch.

"It's Grace!" The voice said, "Uh you gotta be with the team!"

"Can I come later?" Evie yelled, "This is a very important episode! They're about to reveal who wrote the journals!"

"Wait..." Grace said, "Are you watching Gravity Falls?"

Then Evie's introvert came out to play, "Uh, uh, uh no. I'm not. Totally different show. With no twins, or mysteries. What's Gravity Falls?" Just then Evie felt a pain in her heart like everyone in a small town in Oregon just died.

"Oh ok, then can I at least come in?" Grace yelled.

"Uh, uh, uh, uh I'm -uh- not wearing -uh- pants." Evie said, now panicking. Which this wasn't a complete lie, she wasn't wearing pants, she was wearing shorts. Alice then looked at her, with a cute confused look on her white snout.

"Oh uh...Ok? Well you still have to come at some point today!" Grace said, "See ya later!"

"See ya! I'll be there in a few hours!"

"Gotcha!" Grace said, her voice growing faint.

Sarah stood at the bottom of the stairs, "No luck?"

"She wasn't wearing pants." Grace said walking past Sarah.

"Wh, what?" Sarah asked.

"I don't know, she just said she wasn't wearing pants."

A few hours later the team was sitting in their living room, waiting for Black Canary to come and start their training. Suddenly the Zeta tube started up.

The robotic voice began to speak, "Recognizing. Chemical Kid. B, 0, 8."

Grace stood up and began to walk over, along with Robin, who was in civvies. Evie them stepped her way out of the Zeta tube. She was wearing a pair of dark jeans with a pair of Gorillaz converse on. She was wearing a 'Nightmare before Christmas' t-shirt and her green beanie was covering her unruly red hair. She was also holding a Guardians of the Galaxy water bottle filled to the brim with coffee. She then began to speak in a groggy voice, "Do you guys have a coffee machine here?"

"Well hi too you too Babe." Kid Flash said as he ran up to the trio.

"Shut it Wally. You aren't even on my radar." Evie said angerly, "Have coffee or not?"

"Uh yeah we do." Robin said quietly, "It's in the kitchen."

"Thank you Rob!" Evie said in a bubbly voice. She began to walk past M'gann who flew up as well, "Move it Bubbles, Mama needs more coffee."

"Why is she so mean?" M'gann asked.

"Hello Sarah! It's cause not every one is nice to you Bubbles!" Sarah said passing Evie, high giving her as she chugged the coffee.

Grace tried to stifle a laugh, "Yeah Megan, she's probably like 'No talkie before coffee'."

That's when Evie returned from the kitchen with another full bottle of coffee, "That's exactly right Grace!" She then turned to M'gann, "And...I just don't like you." She said with a huge smirk on her face. This comment then caused Sarah and Grace to fall over from laughing to hard.
