Why Couldn't it have been Mini-Golf

The entire team sat in the living room of the base watching the news. Although Evie hated the news, she still sat in a cozy arm chair and watched youtube on her phone. Dick, Wally, Sarah, and Grace all sat on one of the couches while Connor, M'gann, Kaldur, and Artemis sat on the other couch. Evie wore a Batman hoodie, jeans, Disney converse and her hair up in a pony-tail.

"Guys," Artemis said, breaking the silence, "this is boring, and depressing, let's go do something else."

"Such as?" Wally said.

"I don't know, Mini-golf?" Sarah said.

"What about bowling?" M'gann asked. "I've always wanted to try bowling!"

"Well let's do a vote." Kaldur said, "All in favor of bowling, raise your hand." Dick, M'gann, Kaldur and Artemis all raised their hands.

"Alright," Kaldur said, " now, everyone for Mini-golf." And with that Grace, Sarah, Wally, and Connor raised their hands.

"Wow Connor," Dick said, "that was a suprise. Didn't think a big guy like you would like Mini-golf. Can you even reach ground with the club?"

"I was thinking the exact same thing." Sarah said.

"Okay, well, four on one side and four on the other side." Kaldur huffed, "This is a predicament."

"Why do you guys like bowling?" Grace asked, "Mini-golf is so much easier."

"Bowling requires aim," Artemis interjected, "skill, and trajectory. Mini-golf is just hitting a ball into a hole."

"But Mini-golf is so easy going!" Sarah brought up.

"That's true. But it can get boring really fast." Dick said.

As the arguments continued Evie looked up from her phone. She saw everyone bickering, about what sounded like, balls, holes, pins, and clubs. She took out her ear buds and stood up.

"Hey what's going on?" Evie asked.

"Evie," Grace said, "we have a predicament." The short girl grabbed the red-head by her shoulders. "Which do you prefer: Mini-golf of bowling?"

Evie furrowed her eyebrows, "Bowling, why?"

"That was the deciding factor on what we would do tonight." Artemis said.

"Ah okay, and it was bowling and Mini-golf. Cool." Evie said.

"You sided with us!" M'gann said happily.

"Wait," Evie said in shock, "I sided with you?" M'gann nodded. "I changed my mind!"

"No!" M'gann yelled, "No backies!"

An hour later the team arrived at the bowling alley. They grabbed their shoes, and balls and went to their allies. Dick, Evie, Sarah, Grace and Wally were on one alley while the rest of the team was on the other. After about two sets another group showed up next to Evie's lane.

There were two girls and a boy. The first girl was very petite. She had blonde hair and wore a purple knitted sweater. The second was a tall muscular girl with dark brown hair in a bob cut hair style. The boy was very attractive in Evie's book. He was skinny with shaggy blond hair and green eyes like Evie. He wore a green hoodie and jeans, he had most of her attention.

She looked at the group in confusion, she knew she knew them from somewhere, but couldn't quite put her finger on it.

Do we know them?

He's cute. Evie should talk to him.

I don't think so, they look really familiar though.
